I had always thought high tea would be a cute experience with fancy teacups and brunch food that would never rival my love of crab cake eggs bennys but wow was I wrong! The food was absolutely out of this world, and every item tasted different with and without tea. It was insane how they packed so much flavour into these small bites, and normally I like food hot but room temp was perfect for this esp with a sip of hot tea! **Bottom tier**: Chicken salad tortilla, egg salad croissant, cucumber cream cheese on toast, zucchini + cheddar muffin, allium quiche **Middle tier**: original and currant scones with clotted cream + strawberry jam ok so I knew that the scones were going to be good, the crown taught me that it’s a high tea classic etcetc but I cannot explain how amazing these damn scones were!! Structurally sound enough to spread clotted cream on yet still perfectly tender that it’s not a crumbly mess - like excuse me ???? Absolute witchcraft the scones together with the tea literally put me on a different plane of existence - I think I drank 75% of my pot with the scones and I don’t regret it one bit **Top tier**: heart-shaped shortbread cookie w/ strawberry jam, fudge brownie (the fudgiest!!), funfetti cupcake, strawberry shortcake This tier was a bit too sweet on its own, but perfect with tea! From the pics it didn’t look like a lot of food but it’s actually so filling! Service was also amazing, the ladies were very attentive. Overall I highly recommend Queen of Hearts Tea House for high tea, we will definitely be coming back!

I had a great experience at the Queen of Hearts Tea house. The venue was quite very clean and more modern feeling. I would have preferred a bit more decoration for ambience but regardless it was quite nice. The tea sets were quite nice and I enjoyed the variety that everyone had. The tea: There was a lot of teas to choose from and I was very pleased with the quality. The savories: These were very good. All the breads tasted fresh and moist and every savoury was unique and delicious. In particular I really enjoyed the puff cream cheese pastry and the coronation chicken salad. No complaints about the savories. The scones: Super delicious buttery and flaky. Some of the best scones I have tasted and the clotted cream and jam was great with them. The sweets: Personally, I thought these were the weakest part of the tiers. Everything was very sweet for my preference. The muffin was nothing special. The cake had this interesting gelatin like icing on tiop that was not for me. The tarts had a very thick and strange crust that I personally didn't love. Overall the sweets were a tad bit overwhelming for me. This experience was great. I left the tea room with a full belly but no leftovers. While I thoroughly enjoyed this experience the price is a bit high for me to justify coming often. But overall would recommend and come back for special occasions!

Can't begin to explain how extravagant Queen of Hearts is. It was my first time going today and definitely not my last! Their menu selection is very unique and every item on it was top notch freshness. My favourites were (all, but here's a few) Savory- mini red pepper pinwheel and cucumber/cream cheese bread Scones- current with fresh cream AND jam Sweets- strawberry cheesecake square and cookies and cream brownie Quite a few of their menu items were actually the best I've ever had. I had their strawberries and cream tea and it was extraordinary (drank one and a half pots full actually). Their service was some of the best I've ever had aswell - very attentive to every table in there. Always making sure everything was good/you didn't need anything. Their tea house is relaxation at its finest, and their experience is one of true elegance and pampering. Side note- I got lavender candies and elder flower candies on my way out and both are delicious. They're made in Great Britain and the tins they come in are gorgeous. Can't suggest this place enough- would rate a 6/5 if I could!

I was very lucky that for my birthday weekend - dine in was opening up again ! I have wanted to go in for afternoon tea for quite some time! Queen of Hearts didn’t disappoint! There were four of us total including my 7 year old niece(first afternoon tea experience !). I loved being able to share this experience with her and she had a great time. I would say the menu is mostly kid friendly ! She ate up the cucumber sandwich , egg salad and chicken curry wrap(other things in the savoury plate was a mini cheese muffin and mini quiche). She loved eating half a scone(that’s all her little tummy can eat )with the house made strawberry jam. As an adult ,I enjoyed everything. That being said we could not finish it all and we packed the rest home. You can expect quality ingredients here ! The lemon poppyseed cupcake was topped with either a Swiss or Italian buttercream (not that awful American buttercream!) and had a surprised filling of lemon curd on the inside. Another standout was the blueberry choux au craquelin. The chocolate cake with caramel was delicious as well if you’re a chocolate lover ! Clotted cream is not included and has to be ordered separately. If you want to go all out - getting it is highly recommended. And of course the teas were enjoyable! The tea cups and tea pots were gorgeous and adorable. We will...
