Very Disappointing Experience â Misleading and Overpriced!
We recently had my son's birthday party at Funvilla Milton, and I am extremely disappointed with how things turned out.
First of all, this place is very expensive. We paid over $670 for the party, which included a package for 10 kids, some extra kids, socks, and a single pizza â definitely not worth the price for what you get.
But what really upset me was how misleading and dishonest they have been. At the end of the party, I was clearly told that we would get 3 free passes, and the receipt even clearly shows 3 separate free passes. Today, when I went to use them, the staff at the reception claimed that there is only 1 pass, saying the receipt shows three just because of a âprinting space issue.â
This is completely unacceptable. If that was the case, why was I explicitly told after the party that I had 3 passes? Even when I showed the physical receipt, they still refused to honor what was written on it. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic and is very unprofessional.
For the amount of money we spent, I expected much better service and transparency. Instead, I walked away feeling cheated and frustrated.
I will never recommend Funvilla Milton to anyone planning a birthday party. If you are considering booking here, be prepared to overpay and possibly get misled about what you are entitled to.
Response to Funvilla's below comment: Thank you for replying, but unfortunately, what youâve stated here does not match my actual experience.
Free Passes â At the end of the party, your staff clearly told me I had 3 free passes that I could use within 3 months. Even when I asked for clarification, they confirmed it verbally. My receipt also shows âBirthday Party â Free Passâ listed three times. If it was truly meant to be just one, this was very misleading both in writing and from what I was told in person. Dismissing this as a âmisunderstandingâ on my part doesnât feel fair.
Pizza Count â Iâm aware the party package includes 3 pizzas, but thatâs exactly why I ordered 1 additional pizza and paid separately for it. My review simply stated that we received one pizza outside the package, which is correct.
Pricing â While you may consider your prices competitive, paying over $670 for a 10-kid party with a few extras still felt very expensive for what was offered.
My review is honest and based on what actually happened. If there was any confusion, it came from your staffâs explanation and the way the receipt was printed, not from me. I hope you take this as constructive feedback to improve clarity for future customers, rather than dismissing concerns as...
Read moreDO NOT HOST PARTIES AT THIS LOCATION. The staff at this location has a very nasty attitude, and I wouldn't recommend having birthday parties there. I had a collab birthday with a in law for our daughters party's (their cousins, a year apart) and it was honestly a devastating and frustrating experience. I don't think they really relay how strict they are with timing since it's only a 2.5 hour party window, and basically already have the schedule for the party set. We were suppose to have a "host" but really all the "host" did was bring the cake and pizza. We had a list of guest at the party and considering he was the "host" we gave him the list and asked if he could check our guest in since he was already spending majority of his time up front he literally asked us if we can greet our party guest at the entrance of the play place. That's not even the part that made me come to write this review. At one point we were singing happy birthday to the girlies and while cutting the cake the "host" comes in the room and asks me to stop cutting the cake to pay the bill which was annoying because he did it in front of the whole party, considering we did have a time slot of 3-5:30, I feel they weren't really good at giving us information on how the timing works because we had to be out the room at 5 o'clock...... so upon us literally now after cutting the cake, kicking people out the room and trying to clean up a bit because we had to get out of there this light skin curly haired guy comes into the room with children and adults and literally (top of his lungs) yells "WE ALL NEED TO GET OUT NOW BECAUSE ANOTHER PARTY STARTS AT 5:30" that's when it went bad we had to calm a few dads down because they were a little heated that he came in yelling at kids and mothers. Overall maybe to go in a play for the day or a few hours but DO NOT HOST A PARTY AT...
Read moreWe bought the 30 adult and 30 children package thinking we were going to have room to accommodate all 60 people. We were given the diamond room, which was extremely cramped and small! Look at this photo. Thereâs no way to know how big a room is, but this room could not host 60 people. We hosted approximately 50 people, including children and we didnât not fit. Some of the guests had to wait outside the room, meanwhile play and didnât end up eating at the same time with the rest of the party due to lack of space. As a host of a party, I was quite disappointed and annoyed by this. In the package, we were given the option of pizza toppings, I specifically asked for pepperoni and 3 boxes of cheese. I got all cheese, not even one pepperoni box. I also found that the time slots for the rooms were too short and rushed. They kick you out quick and on to the next one. I think the package purchased should be aligned with the room size. The kids enjoyed the playground, including toddlers. Hosting your kids party in a place like this is a great idea, but the room given did not suit the party package that we purchased. The party service was...
