I went here with a couple of friends for a scenic walk. There are tons of great spots for photography or admiring the lakefront. It has plenty of space on the grass which are great for picnics and BBQ. The path is paved and easy to navigate (good for bike trails). It connects to the Waterfront Trail if you head further southwest. The parking is free but quite limited. Overall, it's a great place for Mississauga and Oakville people to come chill and relax.
Overlooking the lake, you can see a beautiful view of the downtown Toronto with the CN Tower. You can sit on secluded rocks and enjoy watching the water brush against the shoreline.
There is a sunken vessel (located northeast across from JJ Plaus Park) which protects the boat in the Port Credit harbor marina. This boat was originally known as William E. Corey. It sailed through many waters and faced one of the most ferocious storms to ever hit the great lakes in 1905.
The boat is now called the Ridgetown. It was loaded with stone and cement and sunk to become a permanent breakwater. Even though it is no longer an active boat, the Ridgetown is the fourth oldest surviving great lakes freighter.
Next time you head to Port Credit and see the Ridgetown, you will be reminded of the most ferocious storms to ever hit the...
Read moreI recently visited this park and found it to be an amazing spot to spend time with family, friends, or even alone. It is the perfect place for picnic and open ground for kids play. If you want to stay till dark, there are campfire spots. If you enjoy exploring and a bit of rock climbing, you can make your way to the shore through the rocks. It’s a peaceful place to sit, relax, and enjoy the sounds of water flowing and striking the rocks. Just be cautious and avoid the rocks with algae as they are slippery and could cause you to fall into the water.
The view from there is truly fascinating. At the intersection of the lake and sky, you can spot small clouds and tiny buildings in the distance, creating a surreal and picturesque scene.
However, I did notice a couple of downsides. People have littered in few areas, which are the best spots to enjoy. Additionally, there were quite a few mosquitoes in some areas, likely due to the season.
Overall, this place is a fantastic destination with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Just be mindful of the slippery rocks and the mosquitoes.

Read moreJ.C. Saddington Park is a large large green space located on the Port Credit lakeshore area, just next to the marina. We can see the Toronto skyline clearly. The waterfront trails are very easy to walk, but the elders and kiddos have to beware of the bikers or skateboarders. It will be better if there's a bike lane separated from the walking trails. It may not be so famous like Jack Darling Memorial Park, but it's still fantastic for a family day in summer. 2 large parking lots on both ends of the park, washroom is located on the east side near the playground. There are many picnic tables and benches along the trails. 2 huge picnic areas are closed to the west parking lot. Although there's construction underway in Port Credit lakeshore region, it's absolutely a good choice for a relaxing walk, enjoy the nature...
