I recently took my four kids (ages 3, 5, 8, and 12) to Jumbaloo Play Park, and overall, it was a fun experienceâespecially for the younger ones. The two-hour time limit felt just right, as it kept my older child from getting bored while giving the younger ones plenty of time to explore and play.
The play structure itself is well-designed with climbing areas, slides, and engaging play spaces. However, there isnât much for pre-teens, so I wouldnât recommend it for kids older than 11 looking for more excitement. My 12-year-old, although he was at first into the play sections but after an hour didnât find much to do beyond the small arcade section, which has about 10 game machinesâdefinitely not a Playdium-level experience. We spent an extra $20 on arcade credits, which added a bit more fun.
In terms of pricing, admission for all five of us came to $83, which felt a little steep. Given the additional arcade cost, it added up quickly. There is a small food stand, but we opted to grab snacks from Dollarama, which is conveniently just two doors down. The location is great, being in a shopping plaza with other food options nearby, making it easy to plan around mealtime.
Final thoughts - Jumbaloo is a nice indoor play option for younger kids, especially for a cold or rainy day. The space is clean and not over crowded, and my younger children had a great time. However, if youâre looking for a more extensive arcade or activities for older kids, this may not be the best fit. The price is on the higher side but if youâre okay with that, itâs a great place for a couple of hours of active fun. Would I return? Yes, but probably only with my...
Read moreFirst thing. My grandson was sick by that evening with a fever. So that was well worth the visit đ do better on the cleaning and sanitizing. A couple other concerning things. There are a few spots that are not safe like the metal (no padding) air ball gun shooter. Saw a kid tripp and missed hitting his head off of it by an inch that would have been painful. Those should be removed immediately. Slide padding at the bottom of the blue slide was all bunched up and a bad tripping hazard as well. Saw kids continually trip and fall.
!!!!CASH GRAB!!!! The cost of the arcade card is nuts and the 8 credits to play each game needs to be changed as well. Why pay so much money to "win" a plastic toy worth a nickel if that. Also charging adults admission is ridiculous. It's really not necessary. As a parent or whoever brings a child there is only doing it for them. It's not like the adult came on their own and thought hey, let's go to a play place and run around like kids. Drop the adult fees absolutely ridiculous to price gouge people. It's supposed to be for the kids not draining the wallets of parents.
Update to their response It's not an industry standard and if you absolutely need to gouge the adults wallets then maybe make it $2-$5 entry fee for them. And if you insist it is "standard" then maybe be better then the rest and think about the kids having fun instead of lining your pockets. It's really pathetic when things like this are to expensive and parents of lesser means cant afford to bring the kids anywhere. The fee you charge the adults could go towards the kids fun...Since it's supposed to be...
