Mr. Greek — Restaurant in Mississauga

ATTENTION!! Please everyone, read my review and BE AWARE to FULLY AVOID THIS LOCATION! This FRANCHISE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! Will NEVER return to a MR. GREEK AGAIN!

My fiance and I decided to get Greek food for lunch today. My family owns a Greek Restaurant on Bloor Street so I am very familiar with the way it should run. We ordered gyro salad. After taking 1 bite of salad and 1 bite of gyro, i realized the gyro was old and the lettuce of the salad was rotten and had a bad smell. (* NOTE* they had extra gyro slices cut yesterday, refrigerated over night and used them this morning). I brought my food back to the register, and asked for a manager. This very unprofessional young immature female approached and said she was supervisor. I told her i wanted a refund and the reasons why. She had an attitude and said I ate it so I couldn't be refunded. I started to take pictures of my food as proof and she wouldnt let me take pictures. She said she will ask her manager. She walked to the back, pretending to speak to a manager, because of her immaturity she thought we fell for her LIE, that there was a manager there. WE DIDNT! She came back and on her way back to speak to me, SHE THREW MY MEAL IN THE GARBAGE WITHOUT ASKING ME FOR MY CONSENT!!! Her reason for doing so was " you didnt like it so you dont want it" YOU DID NOT PAY FOR IT HOW DARE YOU THROW OUT SOMETHING I PAID FOR!? She said the manager would give me a call..NO MANAGER CALLED! I called head office and NEVER HEARD BACK! This goes to show the very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! and UNPROFESSIONALISM! This franchise DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! Also, all reviews with any stars are from their family and friends because these poor childish females need some kind of support...

TL;DR: Don't order from this location, at least if you want your food. Ordered at 6:30, didn't get food until at least 8:45.

Alright, so I ordered from their Online site at around 6:30. Got a confirmation email, telling me that the food should be at my house by approximately 7:40pm. 7:40 comes along, still no food. So i decided to wait a little longer, it must be traffic, or maybe there's a lot of orders, both valid concerns. Honestly i've entirely forgotten that i even ordered food by around 8:30, when a friend reminded me. I double checked the email, and it definitely says that my order should have been here an hour ago, and it has a phone number i can call if i want to change my order! I give the number a call, and instead of an answer, i'm greeted by what sounds to be an old Dial-Up Modem, before the number hangs up on me. I phone back a few minutes later, and just around the same time they pick up the phone, the Delivery person is at my door with my food.

The food was good, it didn't seem to be 2 hours old for sure. When i mentioned to the delivery person that i'd ordered the food 2 hours ago, he seemed shocked, and said he just got the order a few minutes ago. I asked him if he was busy today, and he mentioned it wasnt much busier than usual, so im not really sure what took the food so long to arrive, whether it was an issue with their website, or just with their service at...

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!

Honest to god this is the last time we are going here. Had the worst experience in February with my last order. Never went back until today since it was closer. Even after reading the reviews and my last experience we gave it a try. Here’s what went wrong:

The chicken was undercooked pink inside, covered in over a litre of oil, burnt from outside which spilled all over my car, through the packaging and brown paper bags. Even after that the fries were not cooked, more oil leaking from the bottom. The pita was not warm and was stale not warmed up at all. My wife didn’t even bother to eat her meal. We received a single sauce after ordering 6 chicken orders. Really???

This place is disgusting, smells very bad once you enter and can’t get the order right every time it seems like. What I don’t understand is how this place is still operating with all of these bad reviews and cleanliness issues.

I will be contacting health and safety as well as head office. This disregard for costumer satisfaction and accuracy along with safety of food is disgusting and very scary.

I have been to plenty of other locations so I am not bashing the organization in general. I was extremely sick from my last visit over 2 weeks and can only imagine what could have happened if we finished our meals this time. I will not let this incident go unanswered, especially after the...
