Pace of Play - Indoor Golf — Attraction in Mississauga

I've been going to Pace of Play more frequently than I'd like to openly admit on the internet, just in case my wife is reading this review. It's more than once a week but less than 3x (most weeks). What I will say is that I've been blown away by Pace of Play compared to other indoor golf places like it. Trust me, I've tried them, and they just don't compare. Either they have comical pricing where they charge more per hour if there are more people, or the facilities just aren't kept in good shape as the months go by. Honestly, some just don’t have a good vibe. I used to hate practicing and playing indoors, but Pace of Play just has a different energy to it, and you don't feel cramped like you typically do when swinging indoors.

I love that I can play 18 holes without being stuck behind a foursome of people that make sloths look quick or losing $20 in balls in the woods. It's also great that you can play a round with friends in the middle of a snowstorm because it's open 24/7 (even if Environment Canada has advised people to stay indoors except for essential travel… sorry, Canadian Government, golf is essential to fighting the winter blues). Pace of Play also organizes free leagues that you can participate in, although FAIR WARNING, I think they have some PGA Pros in disguise coming here to play because there are some real "sticks" in this league. Even when you shoot the lights out, it's like you're playing against 2021-23 Scottie Scheffler. These guys are good!

The only downside of Pace of Play is I have no excuse now for my mediocre golf game! Although, I will likely see a 1-2 point drop in my handicap this year once we are released out of the stables to roam the fairways this spring, and that improvement will solely be due to having had access to a great place to practice and play this winter. In terms of the setup, all the bays have Trackman launch monitors, and on the rare occasion that you have a tech issue (golf sims are, after all, powered by computers and technology), the owners are amazing, and the customer service is top-notch! If you're frustrated (or have a severe golf addiction like me), there is no other place you should be going than Pace of Play.

11/10 would...

Lots to love about this place.

First of all, the tech...I've been to dozens of simulators across the GTA, and the one thing that bothers me about all of them is that the yardages and ball flight isn't anything close to what my ball does in real life. For whatever reason, the tech at this place is way more dialled in. All the distances with each of my clubs, as well as the ball flight, is basically bang on compared to what I do in real life.

Secondly, it's good for any occasion. I've gone by myself just to get some swings in, I've gone with a couple of friends to just hang out for an hour and play 9, and I've gone with a larger group where we wanted to make a night of it...and for each occasion, the spot was perfect. Huge and spacious bays, clean, didn't have to fumble around with the interface to get started cause it's so easy to use, etc.

Lastly, and probably most importantly, the value. Considering what I said about the tech and just the general cleanliness and vibe of the place, the value at this place is head and shoulders above other spots in the city.

This golf simulator location is hands down one of the best I’ve been to!

The 4 open bays and 2 private bays are incredibly spacious, giving you plenty of room to swing comfortably without feeling cramped.

Each bay is equipped with top of the line TrackMan technology, which offers a full library of courses and accurate data offering a premium simulator experience.

What really sets this place apart, though aside from the vibe and patrons are the owners.

JP and/or Aash are usually around, super friendly and quick to help make your visit go as smooth as possible. You can tell they care about giving you a great experience when you visit their establishment
