If you asked me 5 years ago for the best gyros place, I would tell you to come here. The food used to be amazing, a true greek place with the best food and pork gyros plate. The owners then changed, pork was taken off the menu and halal was added to the signage. I still went because the food was still delicious. I hadn’t been since about 2019, and after tonight, I will never set foot in that place ever again. After years of not visiting, we went tonight and purchased four gyros, fries and a salad. Our meal was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. The chicken gyros had undercooked chicken in it and it tasted OLD. I don’t know how to describe what old meat tastes like but once you taste it and that stench hits all your senses, you will know. I still feel sick to my stomach and I only had one bite. We opened up each gyros and it smelt terrible. The chicken did not look appetizing at all. My brother-in-law had the beef/lamb and it was so chewy and tasted strongly of spices (probably to cover up old meat). The fries were old and stale, like they were cooked yesterday. The salad was the only salvageable part of the meal, though even that included bits and pieces of browning lettuce and barely any dressing. Do not go here. Do not be fooled by reviews from years ago. You will just end up throwing your food (and money) straight into the trash and that is not something any of us want to be doing, especially during this time. This USED to be a good place. Not anymore. The one (mandatory) star goes to the 3 cans of Coca-Cola we bought with our meal which tasted amazing and helped wash away the taste of this gyros. Stay far, far away. The only Krazzy thing about this place is what it will do to your taste buds...
Read moreKrazzy Gyro is definitely one of my favorite places for lunch in Etobicoke. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu - anything from the chicken gyro salad to their burgers to their wraps is absolutely delicious. Even their fries and Greek fries are great. The staff is very friendly, and although they get busy sometimes (especially around lunch), they are always quick to get the food ready. In addition to their normal food menu, they have baklava, Nespresso coffee, and a bit of a supply of alcohol, if you're looking for a little something else to get you through the day. They have a few beers available, and a few bottles of liquor. In terms of table space, they have a few booths available, and a few more tables in the middle of the restaurant. Around lunch time, you will usually be able to get a table if you want to eat in, since a lot of people order take out. If you want to take the food and go, you can always call ahead and pick it up 15 minutes or so later.
PS: Their hot and garlic sauces are to die for. Put it on their wraps, meals, and even salads - you won't regret it. After my first time trying the hot sauce I was hooked! Luckily for me they sell the sauce by the bottle if you ask, so I was able to buy some and take it...
Read moreMy partner and I came here on Valentine's Day. We were looking for some Greek food and after spending 30 minutes searching we drove all the way down from Brampton to try this place out for the first time. Krazzy gyro is in a pretty good spot right next to an automotive shop. When we entered, we were greeted and welcomed. The vibe has a nice "small town family run" kind of feeling and it was great. We went with the chicken souvlaki and beef chicken gyro with Greek fries to start. The chicken gyro was not dry at all and their tziki is amazing. The gyro had small cut up pieces which had lots of flavour. I've got to say, the food is great! I would definitely recommend this place for a good sit in or a quick bite. The staff are super friendly and nice. Very relaxed place to spend a good evening. The reviews and the stars are all deserving for this place. I am genuinely happy to give them 4 stars because of their service and food. Amazing. Will be definitely passing by this place again in the future. Overall: very much recommended for a good relaxed seating, friendly staff and good...
