I rollerblade daily thru this park and it's a great path and lots of people out enjoying the park atmosphere and one issue is people with dogs who are not aware of their surroundings which makes them an irresponsible pet owner and park user... other week, I had a boy on a tricycle that was not being looked after and we almost collided and that would of been one he'll of a mess... people... please wake up... your in a PUBLIC park with many things going on and if your not aware... bad things happen... I have been on the mend for 4 weeks cannot work on my house... barely move... but that lady and her dog are FINE! This is NOT fair.. She only had to control her attacking dog that missed my calf by 1 inch!!!! So beware ALL of those folks who ignore their role in public... No more am I getting out of the way for this... I only get hurt... so from now on... I will be kicking the dog in head... you will be carrying the mutt home... only self defense that leaves me not hurt and dog... well, it's a dog.. With a dumb owner.. Likely looking for a new one.... Have a great summer... be safe and to be safe you need to STAY AWARE... not Your back yard...

Very well kept, the trail is quite short, but has good views of the creek. The dirt trails shooting off of it are fun to walk or bike on, great for biking, going with family, friends, etc. towards the end, there are playgrounds, baseball diamonds, and a good amount of parking. Would definitely recommend it to practically anyone looking to go for a run or walk in the area.

The path along the creek has been a staple in the neighborhood for many years. I walk and cycle here all the time and I love it. It's a very long path with some off paths that are dirt. I like to explore all of them.

This park has one entrance located on Garnetwood Chase between two houses. It is often confused in Google Maps for the paved multi-use trail which starts at Ponytrail Drive and goes up and into the Pearson Airport grounds.

Wood Creek Park is definitely scenic but it is VERY hazardous.

WARNING

THE PATHWAY LEADING FROM GARNETWOOD CHASE TO THE OPEN FIELD AND STORM WATER POND OFF TAHOE BOULEVARD IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. MUCH OF IT IS NARROW AND ALONG THE SIDE OF A STEEP EMBANKMENT. CLIFF IS A MINIMUM OF 50 FEET HIGH TO AS MUCH AS 80 FEET HIGH. TRAIL IS ONLY WORN AWAY DIRT AND IS NOT RECCOMENDED. CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS WHEN WET OR ICY. USE...

Nice place walking from home to work and back home every week day. Lot of wild animals: squirrels, possums, rabbits, sometimes even skunk or coyote! The only puty is the dog owners - they don't care to pickup after their pets. I wish we had DNA identity service there the same as in UK. I would help government to collect some money from fines and all of us to keep our...
