We ordered donuts from Halo Donuts for our wedding and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. Despite placing the order in advance, when my husband went to pick it up at the agreed time and location, there was no record of it. Even after checking another store location, nothing was found. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress on an obviously important day for us!
The only saving grace was the staff working that day. They went above and beyond, quickly pulling together whatever donuts they had available to create an order for us. Thanks to their hard work, our guests still got to enjoy dessert and they truly saved the day. I cannot praise them enough for their kindness, effort, and professionalism in a tough situation.
Unfortunately, management’s response to my email afterward felt very insincere. Instead of a meaningful apology or effort to make things right, I got a short note admitting they recorded the date wrong in their order book. No offer to compensate, no assurance of changes to prevent this from happening again—just a generic “congratulations” message. For such an important event, this kind of mistake and lackluster response is unacceptable.
Because of this, I would hesitate to recommend Halo Donuts for weddings or major events. While the donuts themselves are good and the staff working that day were excellent, the poor handling of our order and the dismissive follow-up left us very...

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by an employee at the deli style glass counter. They have examples of their available donuts on display, which are then picked and packaged based on your selection.
It is no doubt that this place is well regarded for a reason. During my 7-8 minutes there, at least 10 customers were served.
As for the donuts. I've never been a fan of donuts, probably because I've only ever tried prefrozen donuts from the grocery store or franchise coffee shops, which are usually dense and crumbly.
Halo donuts have completely blown my mind. Rich, airy, flavourful, fresh, high quality and incredible. I could go on for hours. Not to mention the wide array of choices, both vegan and non vegan. I will never buy donuts elsewhere.
To the average non donut connoisseur, the prices may seem a bit outlandish, but you absolutely get what you pay for, I can promise you that. All the while, you support a small local enterprise, which is infinitely important to our ever growing city.
Service was kind, courteous, and helpful. Paul was beyond happy to answer any questions I had as a first-time customer and helped me make an educated choice based on the detailed information he...
Read moreI stopped by Halo Donuts in Moncton and was seriously impressed. The aroma alone when I walked in made it clear I was in for something special. The place has a stylish, modern vibe without feeling pretentious, and everything in the display looked like it had been made with care and creativity. The doughnuts are clearly handcrafted, with unique flavours and glazes that go way beyond the usual lineup you find in most places. Every option looked indulgent and fun, and the freshness was undeniable.
What really stood out was the balance in everything—the dough was pillowy and rich, the toppings were flavourful without being over-the-top, and nothing tasted like it came from a production line. Staff were super friendly, happy to chat, and clearly proud of the place. The shop was clean and well-organized, and service was fast even though it was fairly busy. The pricing felt more than fair for the quality. Honestly, this spot blew me away. Halo is the real deal and a must-visit...
