Read moreVery nice park to stop at for a picnic. We brought our little sandwiches and our drinks and we stopped there. These picnic tables. Not too many of them, but there was always a couple available. There's bathrooms on the west side of the park. There's nice rapids. You could see boats going by. There's a lot of people. The park is gigantic so there's plenty of space for everyone. And like I said, there aren't numerous picnic tables, but there's enough that you'll find one to stop and eat at worst case scenario. Throw a blanket down and have a picnic. It's a great place for that. There's Sun there's shade. There's hills. There's walkways there's watersides there's games for the kids to play. There's like swing sets and stuff like that. They both go by. It's very yeah. A nice place to stop. Very nice place to go for a picnic or just to go some tanning or hang out with your family or alone. Bring a book or something. It was all ages. There was all types of people on foot by car everything. So yeah I would say go there and enjoy it. It's a good place to go. It's nice by the water. There's facilities. There's even a little museum. It was closed the day we went but I mean there's a little museum. There's pretty much everything so go check it out and you don't get out go it's summer. It's beautiful. So nice place to go. It won't regret it lucid by the water. Bring a chair. Go chill all...
Read moreI absolutely loved the Ribfest celebration. I'm glad and thankful for these fantastic events that are celebrated at our beautiful park. With that being said I have to say I was disappointed with how few recycling containers there were. Many people were drinking bottled water since it was extremely hot and I walked around for a long time carrying empty bottles looking for recycling bins. It would of been nice to have more of them accessible. I am also disappointed with the fact that we've known about Ribfest for months now and still nothing was done to fix the problem with the lights at the bandshell. We want to show that we are a proud community and love our city. I don't think this should if been overlooked. I felt a little embarrassed when looking at our Cornwall sign with half the...
