I visited this museum on a weekday and although it is a fairly small museum, it had lots of local history and interesting facts about the local economy that were Excellent. The staff was helpful and took the time to give me some additional information and context on some of the displays. Beautiful quiet museum on a large park campground near the St. Lawrence river. Free admission.

We had a lovely visit, unfortunately we had to choose for the quick visit, but the place is great for history enthusiasts and for the curious type of people! A great collection of artifacts, my favorite were the pottery! Brend was our guide and he was great at showing us the place and describing the historical events and developments. I need to return to the full tour!

Great musuem with a huge basement. Kids can dress up with clothing from that era. Staff was great and friendly. No washrooms and no wheelchair access. Opened only during the summer and free entry.

I had an amazing time at the Museum today. We had gone in a group and were greeted by a very knowledgeable individual Brent who also is an archaeologist and took great interest in explaining the history. We were fascinated by everything that was there in the Museum, it was a small but a rich place to understand the history of Cornwall and Upper Canada! Highly recommended to whoever is visiting Cornwall town - it’s...

Don Smith went out of his way when a small group visted the museum in fall of 2017. We had called ahead, and mentioned whom we were researching, and Don had searched the records and provided us with the files and space with which to view them. A knowledgeable and well connected man, he also made our visit that much better by connecting us to a private cemetry owner who also...
