I would boycott choosing this location until much needed training for staff and improvements are made to the building.
From the rude ticket clerk talking down to my guest and I multiple times then ignoring us, to the kiosk debit machine turning into computer jargon, the concession stand staff asking an older guest to walk to both ends to retrieve her order which I told them I could wait in the middle where I ordered for it to be brought to us, to the concession being understaffed + not acknowledging the customers behind me (could have said we'll be with you in a moment to them and instead they had to wait an unnecessary length to be serviced), to the concession stand giving straws for drinks or able to point where napkins and the washroom is. To the lights in the theatre flashing to the stereo system causing a complete disruption in my experience (it was like a seizure that would be one block ten blinks and continued sporadic). The washroom, the toilet was so low to the ground my mother-in-law nearly fell to sit on it, 3 of 5 soap dispensers empty, 2 of 3 hand dryers faulty, the blaring music in the washroom..... The handicap button in our theater was non operational and therefore one would assume that the door should have been propped open. The outside handicap button has a garbage almost overlapping it, it is not covered, but this makes one who needs it feel unwelcome. My mother-in-law mentioned how she was confused and I was disappointed with how the crosswalk / no parking ( at the front doors ) paint was painted over in black voiding its safety and done so poorly.
The movie was good and the company was great. Otherwise, I'm greatly disappointed in this location. My last visit here was most likely 6 years ago and I felt much better it about it then.

Read moreMy mom and I went to see the Lion King at the stars and strollers session. First of all, the whole point of the stars and strollers is that the volume is reduced to make it more appropriate for babies. Well, the entire set of ads and trailers shown prior to the movie starting were at regular volume. I literally had to cover my baby's ears with my hands. Then the movie started, and the volume was so low that we couldn't hear almost anything (my three year old got bored because she said she couldn't hear what they were saying). The rest of the people (in the audience) were so rude too...One lady came early and set her car seat blocking the entire row and when we needed to get through, she told us to go around the other end. Seriously?! I was carrying my newborn and had my toddler with me...and I'm supposed to walk back down and up again with both of them? Then her baby was crying the entire movie and she didn't do anything about it! Like, I understand that it is a session that is baby and kid friendly, but that's no excuse to be rude and not do anything at all if your kid/baby starts to cry. Then another lady came with 3 kids that were just running around the entire movie, chasing each other from one end of the theater to the other and up and down the stairs, and again she just let them...I just dont recommend the stars and strollers...
Read moreI’ve been going to this theatre since I was a kid and it’s changed a lot given the always changing needs of movie watchers. The service was great up until the actual movie. I don’t know what happened with this group of 4 kids but they essentially were hanging around the staircase for like 15 minutes while the movie was playing and proceeded to talk and be obnoxious the entire time. Apparently they had “bought the same seats” as these two other older adults and got an employee to essentially kick them out and they proceeded to sit and talk the entire time. Until they left halfway through the movie….. what was the point of kicking out the two other movie goers? Regardless these kids actually left the movie so the right side of my aisle was quite but then the left side of my aisle was also talking the entire time and also took a phone call and texted several times. As much as this isn’t the fault of the employees or the movie theatre itself. I can’t help but think that if more employees were stationed in the inside of the theatres, people would be less inclined to have this disruptive behaviour. Everyone pays to watch a movie and deserves to enjoy there time there. Hoping they implement a better strategy to ensure the theatre is quiet and non disruptive to...
