This little strip mall is getting better and better. I have lived in the same area for about 5 years and have watched it evolve into what it is today, a brilliant melting pot of food. Read moreFor now, summer of 2019, this is the preferred place to meet young adults from India. There is a noticeable population of educated English speaking young men and women from India, presumably from nearby Algonquin College. They typically hang out around the Tim Hortons, but will also venture west within College Square area to Bagels place. A number of them, especially male engineering students band together to go shopping at the Loblaws (24 hrs) but they usually prefer the WallMart located east, a couple of kilometers on Baseline. Students from nations in periphery of India also go there, and prefer night time for shopping together. They will usually venture no further than Meadowlands and Merrivale intersection, which also offers a great location to go shopping for food, specifically FreshCo. I'm so happy they are here. Welcome to Canada dear friends from overseas, you enrich our...

The signage about this detail is 10 ft high on a few posts within the lot. I was just getting back to my car when the parking lot person was writing me up and that's when I was informed that the max is 2 hours. I had gone to lunch at one of the eateries and spent money at 3 shops. As he was just writing the ticket I said I was just heading out after spending time, and money at the "mall" can I not get a ticket? He agreed to not give me a ticket and he left, without giving me the ticket, so imagine my surprise when I got a notice for a parking fine from the City of Ottawa for $95!
I am never returning to this mall. I'd rather spend my money at another mall and take my time having lunch then shopping and enjoying my time instead of feeling rushed and risking another parking...
