Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Ottawa

As a 56 years old person, I’m totally disappointed after placing today’s (14th June, 2020) Walk-in Order. I would appreciate, if the owner contact me and talk to me. My email is: imtiaz_anwar@hotmail.com

Scenario: I was looking for 10 piece deal what I had couple of weeks ago. But, the girl in the counter told me that they only have 9 pieces deal. As I was looking for at least 10 pieces chicken and 5 biscuits, she suggested us to take 12 pieces deal. Then I agreed and asked her to give us 50% breast and 50% thigh and I was willing to pay extra if needed. When they called me to deliver my order, I asked the young man (who had eyeglasses with black frame) that how many pieces are there? Then he told me 10 pieces (9 piece combo plus one extra piece). Then, I told his that I have ordered 12 pieces. But, he stated arguing with me that I was wrong and I did order 9 prices combo. When he was trying to prove that I was lying, then I told him that I have been shopping from this store since start of this store and I know how to place an order because I have been living here long time. Then I told him that ok no problem I will take 10 pieces. But, I noticed that there were only 4 pieces of biscuits where as my receipt was showing 5 pieces, then he told me that it was computer glitch. Then I didn’t say anything.

Rationale: I knew that most of the foreign students work in that store. May be that girl was confused while taking order, but I didn’t even mind because we are human beings and everyone makes mistake.

But, my disappointment is for the below two reasons, because of that young guy’s arrogance and inappropriate behaviour with customer:

He argued with me about my order and tried to prove that I was lying, which was disappointing. Where he didn’t even know that where we ended up while I was planning my order. May be he only heard the first option that I was asking for. while I was about to leave, I was shocked when that young guy told me with threatening tone that “don’t say to anyone again that you have been living here long time and you know how to...

I love popeyes its literally my number one place to get fried chicken and the biscuits are a WOW. Although i tend to find bad costumer servicr sometines here and there but the quality of the food always subs for it, except for last night. I called them 30 mins before closing to order food for my Construction team and I, the answer i got was "we only have legs and thighs" i said " can you fry me breats pieces" he said repeatedly "i only have legs and thighs" and when i tried to understand why, he hung up the phone. I drove there and made it 10 minutes before closing and talked to the manager personally, he mentioned how the popeyes owner wants the place closed 30 before the actual time and hes only following orders, which is obviously wrong because i know the owner only wants his costumers to be satisfied and come back. After a long debate and bad attitude and costumer service, we decided to get whatever they have because it was our last option. Although the service was bad i was hoping the food would be good, but it was "disgusting" i hate saying this word when im talking about food, but honestly it was nothing close to food, it was dry, tasted bad and uncooked. You can tell they cooked it while rushing and the manager was just trying to get rid of it, not worrying about his costumers feedback. When i mentioned to the manager that i am going to write a bad review he smiled and said go ahead, as if he doesnt care at all. It is a very active branch in terms of location. this time we wanted to take our children to eat with my friend. My son accidentally splashed ketchup on the table and the wall. After clearing the table, we ate our meal. Later, a female officer came and asked my friend's son who built this place, and he put the child under probation for a few minutes. When he turned to me and asked, I said we cleaned the table. Then he turned to the boy again, looked at him for a long time, shook his head, and left. After collecting all our garbage and throwing it away, another lady came and said a few times that my boss is coming and clean this place. After I said I will talk to your boss, he turned his back and went inside. 1- A kid who did it! The age limit of children is from 2-10. With what right you can hold children accountable without asking me! The boy you asked for an account was eating and froze in the face of this reaction. You cannot talk to a child this way without the consent of his parents. 2- You can't scare the boss to clean up every garbage collector. You must have confused the country you live in. There was a lot of paper trash next to the 3rd drink machine. Then find them and try to scare them with the boss. (great people who made it)

We had a really good day, but after this discussion, my day was officially dark. I will write this complaint to the Popoyes...
