The food is 5/5 star AMAZING.
The cashier is AMAZING. I told her I wanted my food for here.. as itâs one of my first times coming I didnât know they put it on a plate I thought they still put it in the takeout container.
So as my food is being prepared and made infront of me.. I see her put my moms on a plate. I asked for her to put it in a to go container. She did it, I said sorry.. didnât know. But our hole order will be like that.
So mine was coming up next right after, I seen her grab a plate, I told her âhey, mine will be the same as my moms.. in a to go containerâ again sorry next time i will say to go but itâs to late now.
The cook proceeded to give me a very dirty look while shaking her head.. then stating that NEXT TIME I LET HER KNOW AHEAD OF TIME. extremely rude.
The cashier politely smiled at me and said the same thing but very kindly with the biggest smile with amazing energy. If it was not for her being so nice I was ready to ask for a refund and get my money back and forget the food.
The time was at 8:40
If I was the owner I would look into speaking with the cook because that was soooo rude. As we said sorry she kept just shaking her head.
The cashier even came back to me after and asked if we were doing good and if we needed anything.
Over all I highly...
Read moreWe had high hopes for this Thai Express location because the O'Connor Street location was always so good. Big mistake in this case. The person at the cash was helpful and friendly, but after that it was downhill all the way. Worst Thai food ever--seriously, the worst! Ordered General Thai chicken (I think) for my daughter on the other side of town and delivered it to her, then shrimp fried rice and shrimp pad Thai for us. Our "food" was all dark brown like soya sauce sludge, soggy, absolutely soaked in oil and salt. Different ingredients all tasted the same. We ended up hunting for the 10 or 12 small tail-on shrimp and threw the rest in the garbage, still hungry. Honestly.
Later I texted my daughter to say our food had been awful and asked if hers was also "disappointing, shall we say?" She replied, "Yeah, it wasn't what it used to be. I wouldn't order it again. What happened?" Well, College Square, what happened? A sad and disappointing experience.
On the bright side, the imperial rolls that we ate later were really good, and my daughter said the General Thai chicken was way better the next day. I will give this place one...
Read moreIâm sorry. Normally, I am very happy with takeout restaurants but todayâs experience has thrown me off from this location. 1. Menu has a very unusual way of presenting prices. Customers will just keep asking. Other locations that Iâve been to had prices on their menu. I like to see how much Iâm paying for in advance. Also, $22. Is a bit much for 1 cup of rice and a bland General Thai stir fry and a Bubly. Food was bland; cook did not put enough sauce. My General Thai, Pineapple tasted metallic like the frying wok and was very dry, it didnât even coat my rice. It didnât taste like General Tao and chicken pieces were as big as blueberries. Chef/boss, she was very rude. I asked her a question while she was cooking. She blurbed, âtalk to herâ, while pointing at the cashier, âI canât hear you!â Restaurant was empty. Loud MTV music...
