Gong Cha Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Ottawa

Beyond terrible service. Ordered for pickup through Google over 20mins ahead of arrival and the webpage was stuck on 'pending'. We called this location to ask if they got our order and was told they discontinued online ordering, but the option is still online taking payments for no reason.

We then asked if they could make one drink in advance so we could quickly pay when we got there (already on the road). The girl over the phone (oct 3rd 230pm) said she would make it asap and actually took our order down. When we arrived the girl at the counter said nobody took any orders and no drink was made. We made sure the phone number we called was the correct location so we were clearly lied to.

We then placed the order on the spot and she made the drink wrong and restarted which wasted more of our time. What is...

Shares a spot with the rice dog place so nice to get the two together. It’s also nice to have bubble tea close to campus. It’s gone downhill since first opening though and inconsistent in quality. A previous time I went I had chocolate milk tea which I’m not sure if they didn’t clean the mixer properly or something or not mixing enough but there were grounds of something in it. This time with the strawberry milk tea it was fine and delicious. I wish they also had an easier to read menu as the font is tiny.

Also avoid the bathroom at all costs. It’s been an issue for at least a year but it smells like someone had explosive diarrhea and has started to smell in the main area now. I hope management fixes it soon along with the place being...

Worst bubble tea i ever had. The staff recommended my husband to try one of their apparent best sellers oreo cookie. It was the worst drink i ever tried. I has nothing to do with bubble tea and more of a milkshake with oreo crumbles in the bottom. It was so gross. We asked if we could exchange it but the staff said no.

If i want a sweet drink ill rather go to Starbucks, at least their customer service is much better and give you anitht drink if you don't like the one you got.
