Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ottawa

The worst Mucho Burrito I have ever been to... There was no line up when My family and I had walked in.. We were discussing what each of us were getting for a minute and then we stated our individual orders accordingly.. My sister got a shredded beef bowl, I got a regular whole wheat chicken burrito. I had noticed that I received only about 3-4 very small chicken pieces in my burrito as the server only quarter spoon scooped the chicken.. Not only that but they were extremely stingy about every single ingredient and when the order was concluded I had received the tiniest burrito of all time.. it was an extra small with almost zero meat.. I mean talk about a disappointment....not only did they give me a tiny burrito with only a bite of meat.. but they seemed to purposefully disregard of the actual portion as many of my friends have stated that this specific Mucho Burrito is extremely stingy with their ingredients and will cheat you of what you have paid for every single time.. Highly do not recommend buying from this location. As there are many great locations like South Keys and Baseline where they actually give you the quality and quantity that you rightfully paid for... (Mucho Burrito) what a joke. talk about ripping off Algonquin...

I'm a big fan of Mucho Burrito but this location always falls short on quality, care and service.

I've been here 3 times now, tried to give them a few chances but they have consistently been out of stock on a lot of the ingredients like the chicken, grilled fajita vegetables, cilantro etc.. which usually causes long waits. The rice is also poorly cooked, twice it's been undercooked or just stale.

Cleanliness is pretty awful, I've never seen their workstations clean, work prep area isn't clean either. For example, the most recent time I visited, they had all their cut tomatoes piled up in a random cardboard box instead of on a food safe cutting board or container. The dining room area/chairs usually have food droppings/sauce that dripped on chairs etc.. Would benefit from more frequent cleanings.

Service isn't friendly, they seldom smile, say hello. Feel unwelcome when I visit.

Overall, compared to other locations I've visited, this one is the only one that consistently does not deliver and...

I thought burritos were sorta like pizza- where even a bad pizza is still gonna be gooood. Tonight’s burrito proved me wrong.

The lime rice was lukewarm, mushy and had no lime.

I got a vegetarian burrito that comes with guac. The cheese and guac amounts were so little that I could only taste it in a few bits. I asked for cilantro topping too, and didn’t get any.

The grilled veggies were extremely undercooked, and way over seasoned, and I got some bonus onion peel in there too!

The arrangements of all toppings was poorly done too, so some bites were only rice, and some bites were only raw veg.

The burrito was not warmed up in a press, either.

Really super disappointed. I ate just a few bites and then threw it out, that’s how gross it was
