Avengers Infinity War is the greatest movie of all time. There I was, sitting in a packed theater of eager Marvel fans waiting to see a movie that they've waited years to see. As the movie progressed, I noticed the theater was not enjoying the movie. Time passed, 30 minutes, 1 hours, 2 hours, until a very special moment. During the final fight of the movie, as many people were starting to visibly tear up from a disappointing Avengers movie, we witnessed the greatest movie event of all time. Right as Thanos was about to kill one of the heroes, Gibby leapt from the bushes and attacked him. The theater started to whisper "Is that really him?" The crowd started to cheer louder and louder until I witnessed history. The crowd was chanting "Gibby! Gibby! Gibby!" Thanos uttered the line to Gibby "You'll die soon enough fatty." The crowd was aghast. I was on the edge of my seat. The theater was starting to shake. Gibby looked straight into the camera and ripped his shirt off. I grabbed my soda so hard that it busted onto the man next to me. He was too caught up to notice. The cheering in the theater that night was the loudest recorded noise in human history. Every single man, woman, and child started tearing up from the beauty of the scene. Nobody expected this when they bought their ticket. A shirtless Gibby then bopped Thanos with his stomach, obliterating him instantly. Gibby looks into the camera, winks, and credits roll. The crowd started roaring and continued clapping for 30 minutes after the movie was over. As I was leaving, I saw an old man with the expression that his life was changed. I asked him what he was thinking of, and he said that the shirtless Gibby scene gave him the knowledge he required to solve an important formula. That man was...
Read moreWhile the service is normally great… I can’t say the same about the cleanliness of this establishment. I’m only giving two stars because the staff are always so kind when I come in, and it’d be unfair to solely judge this business based off one thing. Though I constantly find myself questioning what the management team does here. Last time I was here, I asked for a cup for water, after filling it up and taking a sip, I look into my cup and realize there are 3 bugs in my drink. Im assuming they came from the ice dispenser or the drink filter, but either way, I was absolutely disgusted, then when I made a member of their management team, Alex, aware, he laughed and agreed with me that it was gross. Obviously frustrated by the service, I left, and chose to not subject myself to the same frustration again. Fast forward to now, I decided to give this place a second chance. While the service was as it normally is, the bug situation has become seemingly worse. There are bugs everywhere in the bathrooms. While the fruit flies have quadrupled in size, there are also multiple kinds of insects. I just don’t understand how this is acceptable, especially considering the fact that food is being sold and served here. You guys need to get it together and put the money we spend here to good use. Please invest in a professional pest control company or something. Until then I’ll be making the trip...
Read moreVery good outing venue. Lots of theaters with 100 reclining seats. Amazing for anyone.
What I really hated about this place is that they offer a special confession ordering lane for people who bought their tickets through a specific iPhone app. Why the heck is that even a thing? I could understand if all the tickets bought electronically (online, in approved mobile apps) where given a special treatment, like it is the case for Cineplex. Wrong move Landmark. I hope it's worth it.
So basically you buy your ticket online and still arrive at the theater and spend a crazy amount of time standing in line for food.
And keep in mind that purchasing the ticket on site is not the part that takes the most time. You can even go in the long lineup to purchase your ticket and food and the same time. That's right.
So for land mark, don't bother ordering online unless you redeeming a voucher that gives you some added value. Like the ones you get at Costco.
Finally, my bank card information got stolen when I used it on landmark website. How do I know this? It was a card that I was exclusively using on their site. I started seeing some fraudulent expenses appearing in my bank statement.
I still go there for movie but I place my online orders using Landmark Cinema vouchers that I buy at Costco. I won't use any of my credit card on their site anymore. That way, everyone...
