Would you walk on this glass platform at the side of a cliff? There are so many fun adventures and beautiful views at the UNESCO Global Geopark of Percé! The museum itself is fascinating and presented in such an engaging and unique way. We learned so much about the geology of the region. Plus, you can go hiking, ziplining, and enjoy the views from high over the treetops! @quebecmaritime @tourismegaspesie @geoparcmondialunescodeperce . . #travelreels #QuebecMaritime #percé #unesco #geopark #adventure #adventureseeker #outdoorsy #ourplanetdaily #travel #traveladdict #Canada #Quebec #explorecanada #living_destinations #earthfocus #earthoutdoors #iamatraveler #darlingescapes #depthsofearth #discovercanada #speechlessplaces #stayandwonder #bbctravel #optoutdoors #ongooglemaps #visualsofearth #visualwanderlust

Couple + 4yr old. Paid for Geopark entry, Glass Passerelle and pavillon Tektronic. Bus service offered to go up and down the hill. Uphill would be difficult for a 4yr old so we took the bus uphill and walked back down. Beautiful hike, beautiful view points, rest points, you can find some picnic areas where you can share a family lunch. Our 4 yr old kept interested, especially in the magical forest. He loved trying to find the hidden elf or goblin - what was fun is people on the hike participated in our story and were saying they saw goblin houses and tracks but humans cant see them. That forest is different and beautiful to see. Several hikes offered once getting off the bus and all relatively easy, well maintained, even with our 4 yr old. The Glass Passerelle is key view point. Its fun to walk on the glass and scenery is beautiful. There is a zip line not functional - if you don't plan to put it back in service, we believe you are missing an opportunity for a view point at the bottom tower of zip line. The pavillon Tektonic was interesting. The sand pit for kids is such a cool idea and kids love building the lakes, mountains, etc. with the video - thats the highlight for us. The films are also interesting. The learning posts to listen to cards content are good, but lack info - felt like we wanted more at the end of each. Overall great activity. Oh let's not forget the indoor playground which kept our child occupied for more than an hour!

It is a great campsite with good water and reliable electricity. I liked the staff at check-in. The problem is this “dude” who drives the shuttle and washes it every day at the RV dump site: bring your rubber boots because there is always a puddle of waste water in the stone dust which is like cement when you tread it inside your clean RV. So I figure I would ask him to do it somewhere else and he pretty_much tells me to F-off! I tell the nice friendly lady at the reservation counter and she talks to him……he continues to do this every day, and when he sees me, he does it for a lot longer……shame he spoiled it for me. There could have been such an easy fix! Oh, the Geoparc wifi works everywhere, but campers can’t use it: we have to use an extremely poor wifi available only in a weird shelter structure.

I tried the "tektonik" presentation. The multimedia/art people did a great job... but the information/science people where either not consulted or ignored. Basically, the visual effects are pretty good, but the presentations are 95% pointless gibberish. For example, they will say useless blah blah for 50 sec (i am the ghost of that girl, the rocks speaks, if you listen they will tell you stuff, blah blah blah", then say there are fossils in the rocks around here... end of the presentation. What kind of fossils? Why does it matters? What do they look like? No information whatsoever... Almost all of their little presentation are worthless speeches with shiny light all to say nothing valuable in the end. There was only a short one about the trip le rocher percé took around the earth throughout millions of years which was interesting... and lasted about 1 min. What an absolute waste of time and ressources. They really could have done something great with the multimedia ressources they had, but they made...

This park offers kilometers of hiking trails on a rather rough terrain. It wanders on the side of the mountain, which makes it more challenging as you will encounter some significant elevations, going from water level to several hundred feet. At the same time the view points are wonderful and on a beautiful day you can expect some fantastic sceneries as showed on my pictures, all the way to the Percé Rock. The multiple belvederes will give you a 240 degree view of the surrounding bay.

There is a grotto in the park that you can access through a trail (follow signs) and also a glass platform that you can go to (tickets cost extra and must be purchased at the Pavilion). It provides a nice view on the Rock and the bay area, facing east. Quite the thrill too to be standing on a glass floor!

Definitely a park to hike, although do keep in mind it's quite demanding due to the elevation and...
