Rites of Passage Tattoo — Attraction in Saskatoon

Im posting this from my anon account because i dont want to be spoken to further about my situation, but every single person i know has been dissapointed and unimpressed with Bryan's work. He is inappropriate, cocky, and overall every piece from him seems very amateur at least that I've seen. My tattoo from him needs to be completely redone, as i am embarrassed when people look at it too closely because the lines, placement and proportions are completely off. Either more practice, or a new career path might be the best bet, because i am not the only one who has to live with a subpar tattoo for the rest of my life. Bad bad bad. I trusted this place for the reviews. Extremely dissapointed. I would not be as heated if it werent for the childish behaviour on top of it all.

To be clear, I’m not giving this shop 2-stars, but rather the artist. Booked with Nicky and she did the initial outline which I loved and her idea was beautiful, but getting the rest finished was a nightmare. Her communication just wasn't there, it took days for her to text me back. I had a deadline of when it needed to get done and we passed it because she cancelled the follow up appt 3x. The first being 40min before my appt, 2nd time when I arrived at the shop, and 3rd an hour before the appt. She's no doubt talented but unreliable. So when I decided to have it finished elsewhere, she wouldn't refund me my deposit, even though she failed to deliver on her end by meeting our agreed...

On the day of my sitting Graeme was clean, efficient, professional and obviously did a truly fantastic job of the tattoo itself. This was my first tattoo and it was a completely positive experience.

He really took my concept and articulated it beautifully. He took time in the consult to help me understand how he could make the concept look great and what would work well (understanding that ink in your skin behaves differently over time and that a great tattoo needs to look great in 20 years too).

The vibe in the shop was very chill, helpful and the solid music selections were an added bonus.
