Entrance ticket was $7, friendly staff but very small collection. They got 3 sections, one with the Group of Seven, one with a local native artist and one exhibition that was on loan from Ottawa Art Gallery. There were about 20 small paintings from the Group right at the entrance and about 10 paintings from the local native artist. The whole place would take 10 mins to finish.

Great experience, just incredibly short. Would’ve have 5 stars if it took us longer than 12 minutes to see all of the paintings. Still nice and the money you spend is for a good cause.

Great little gallery that puts on 3 different exhibits at a time. You can see it with an hour to spare. Classwork by Carson Merriefield was outstanding.

This is in relation to the coffee shop as I did not peruse the exhibits on this visit. Coffee was small but tasty.

Description
The Art Gallery of Algoma is an art museum in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. The museum occupies a 930 square metres facility, situated near the shoreline of St. Marys River. The museum was formally incorporated on 7 July 1975, and in 1980, moved to its present location near the St. Marys River.
