This is my local farmers market. The operator, Constance, has turned it into a truly small town market. By that I mean, it is truly a destination for the week where not only do you buy great produce, meat and baked goods; but you socialize. There is music, a featured local community group, stuff for the kids and wine to buy.
However, like most Toronto farmer's markets, the prices are higher than going to a green grocers that sources locally (A comparison to discount supermarkets wouldn't be fair or accurate due to the difference in food sources and volume purchases).
Another plus is there are many unique products that you can't get elsewhere.
