In my opinion it’s worth travelling further from the city to go to one of the other Ikeas. This one is suuuuuper crowded, as all of them are, yet this one is harder to maneuver with a shopping cart, as it is not a full sized Ikea. It’s 3 floors so if you do need a cart (or have a stroller or mobility device or can’t climb stairs for whatever reason) there is only one elevator that I saw and it’s pretty slow. If you must go I recommend checking online to make sure the items you want are available first since they sell less products than a regular Ikea. This store is cashless, apparently, as I overheard another customer getting upset about it when I was checking out. So if you somehow don’t have a debit/credit card in this day and age then it might be good to know. I did manage to find all my items however, so my trip was a success overall, I’d just rather spend some extra time to go to North York or Vaughan instead to avoid the headache of navigating this...
Read moreIts not a very well planned out mall and has a strange variety of stores that are scattered from.one end to the other with most of the store sitting vacant bearing for lease signs . There are 2 maybe 3 hairdressers. A couple of cell phone shops that carry phone cases and accessories however I've never seen phones for sale. There is a food court that consists of 2 take out booths and every time I've been there I've seen no one eating . Its designed poorly and smells like a high school. The stores are maybe 12 x 10 and none of the staff look overly happy and as a matter of fact they all seem over eager to keep u there even if you don't buy a thing . This designers of this tragic venture are probably humiliated enough . I believe it's been voted one of the worst shopping centres in Canada. Maybe it will pick up eventually or maybe become a large community centre which the...
