A staple convenience store in the community. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and have met all three different owners, including the original owner. This store has all manner of groceries (frozen, boxed, canned, fresh), cleaning goods, treats, snacks, a place to purchase lotto tickets, an ATM and much more. A perfect place to pick up a few items you need. I would always come here with my Dad to get a treat and some last-minute groceries and the owner would always give me a free candy like a toffee stick or a sour key. He was the absolute sweetest. The second family that ran the store were always polite and it was always a joy to see their two kids running around. The current family that runs the store are also very nice, recognize their regulars and have a convenience store cat, Darcy! She is a calico and so sweet. Make sure to look for her around the store! It is always a joy coming here to pick up some treats and/or snacks. Been coming here for over 20 years now!

This is a late review, but I haven’t forgotten how upsetting the experience was. I went in with my son and his cousins so they could grab some popsicles. My son and his cousin already had chips with them that they brought from home (we were down the street at a bbq hence why they had chips). After I paid for our items, the man behind the counter (I believe he was the owner) suddenly began scolding the boys and accusing them of stealing the chips.

I was completely shocked and furious—not only because the accusation was false, but because he had the audacity to scold minors without asking a single question. He never paused to clarify or speak to me first. He just jumped to conclusions. When I confronted him, he didn’t apologize or acknowledge how wrong that was. He just kept repeating that he didn’t know they came in with the chips— yet never once asked.

If you’re a person of color, think twice before supporting this business. There was no fairness or decency in how we were treated. I won’t...

UPDATE This store is banning people from their store even if they have medical exemptions from wearing a mask under the law.

I have had some bad experiences with not being charged the right amount. A product about 1.39 I was charged 2 dollars for (Jones soda). At one point I bought 1 pack of twinkies and the cheapest ice cream bar and I was charged over 5 dollars, yet each item was under 2 dollars, there's no way that could be right charge. On top of this someone else close to me has gone through a similar experience there, being wrongly...
