Curious about Kaboom Wings, I ordered the Solo Smash Burger via Uber Eats, with fries and a Coke. With all the hype surrounding this spot, I approached cautiously—many new restaurants inflate their reviews, so I wanted to see if the buzz was justified.

The burger showed promise. The patty was well-seared and juicy, complemented by caramelized onions pressed into the meat and a tangy, flavorful sauce. The bun was soft and held everything together nicely. Yet the burger didn’t match its menu photo, which suggested fresh lettuce and tomato. Instead, it was simply cheese melted over a smashed patty with onions and sauce. For the price, the absence of fresh, crisp toppings left it feeling unbalanced; it had flavor, but lacked the layered complexity that would make it memorable.

The fries were the highlight. Golden, crisp, and perfectly seasoned, they stood on their own and paired well with ketchup. I could easily see them elevated further with gravy or another dipping sauce.

Delivery, however, dulled the experience. Even though I live ten minutes away, the food arrived lukewarm, muting both texture and flavor. This is a restaurant that likely excels when enjoyed fresh, in-house.

Compared to local favorites like Burger Drops or Happy Burger, Kaboom Wings isn’t yet at that level, but the foundation is solid: thoughtful seasoning, quality fries, and a promising patty. With refined presentation, fresh toppings, and improved delivery, it could become a contender in the city’s burger scene.

This spot has such a fun comic-style atmosphere that really makes it stand out. The vibe is casual but unique, and it matches perfectly with their menu. They specialize in wings, fries, tenders, and burgers—classic comfort food done right.

I tried the tenders and fries combo and it was packed with flavor—crispy, juicy, and seasoned really well. The service was excellent, and the staff made the experience even better. They also offer a great variety of combos and options at really fair prices.

Kaboom Wings has such a wide variety of menu items that are each prepared with the same care and dedication as if they were feeding you in their homes. Never seen quantity and quality executed so well until dining at Kaboom. These guys do each menu item so well they could open a spot just on their burgers alone! Great Oklahoma smash burger, insanely tender chicken spiced perfectly and wings and flavors for days. Definitely coming...
