I was hesitant to write a review as I had heard that Gus Taco had excellent food. My experience with Liliana our server and the restaurant overall was disappointing. I had driven to the store from Pickering and upon arriving home with my order, I found that a burrito was missing from the order. Having to call and then make the 25 minute return trip to retrieve it was annoying. Liliana had assured me that everything was in my order when it was given to me. When I returned to the store I was given the original burrito that had been sitting there from the time I left to the time I returned.. A young man I spoke to tried to help and asked if we had been offered a free drink since our order contained 3 tacos and there was a promotion. Liliana originally took our order and at no time did she offer me a free drink. I was offered a freshly made burrito which I accepted. I also asked if I could get a gift card or some free chips for the inconvenience of having to return to the store. I was told no. In the end, I asked that if the cold burrito was being thrown out perhaps I could have it. I was told it was being thrown away but I couldn’t have it. Having been in retail and customer service field for many years, it was a major disappointment not having anyone (manager included) acknowledge or recognize the inconvenience I had to go through to come back and then not to even have a $4 bag of chips thrown in for my trouble.
