An Unforgettable First Birthday Bash Thanks to Jing and Her Incredible Team!
My family, guests and I cannot express enough how delighted we were with our experience hosting our child's first birthday party at Happy Planet, all thanks to Jing and her amazing team. From the moment we contacted them to inquire about their party packages, we were met with nothing but warmth and professionalism.
Jing and her team went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our celebration was nothing short of perfection. Their attention to detail and remarkable organizing and planning skills truly set them apart. They took the time to understand our vision for the party and executed it flawlessly, exceeding our expectations every step of the way.
Throughout the planning process, Jing was extremely helpful, providing valuable guidance and suggestions to make our event even more special. She is very responsive to our questions and flexible with our requests, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable for us as parents.
On the day of the party, Jing and her team were absolute stars. They greeted us with smiles and enthusiasm, taking care of every little detail so that we could focus on making memories with our little one and our guests. From setting up the party area to coordinating the space and decorations, they ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
The facility itself is a wonderland for children – filled with a play structure that is fun for adults with the littles, soft mats, toddler area, ball pit and slides, and interactive toys that kept our little guests entertained for hours on end. It was a joy to watch them explore and play in a safe and stimulating environment. Safe to say all the littles napped extremely well after the party.
One thing that truly stood out was the cleanliness of the space. Despite the high level of activity, everything was immaculately maintained, which gave us peace of mind as parents. Plus, the designated party area was spacious and well-decorated, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration.
Overall, our experience at Happy Planet exceeded our expectations in every way. It was a memorable day filled with laughter, fun, and joy – exactly what we had hoped for our child's first birthday celebration. We can't thank Jing and her team enough! We'll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect venue and...
Read moreThis play place is relatively new, with a modern, clean, spacious design. There aren't too many party rooms (3 in total) but they were big and were decorated nicely. It's also a good thing that they don't try to cram in too many big groups at once.
They have slots available for purchase (each child is allowed a parent at no cost), around 2.5 hours each, to implement some crowd control. When we went, it was fairly busy like all play places, and although it did get a little chaotic, it wasn't too bad (we've gone to other bigger places where it gets way too chaotic and the little kids can easily get pushed or trampled).
They had a big play structure with climbing, slides, obstacle courses, ball and foam pits, etc. as well as smaller play areas (a play kitchen, some ride ons, a construction area with foam blocks and construction vehicles, stuffed animals, claw machines). These areas added some variety and activities for a broader range of ages (although mostly for younger kids, below the ages 6 or so, though older kids with younger siblings/relatives/friends would still have a decent time).
They allow you to bring in your own food (within reason), but there's also a small cafe with drinks and snacks. All the areas were equipped with benches and places for caregivers to sit and watch, which was great.
There wasn't a ton of oversight, but they occasionally did have people come around to put things back in their place and to remind kids of the rules (no climbing up slides, etc.)
Parking lot is busy since the plaza has a supermarket and many eateries, but spots are plentiful.
Overall, a good experience, and if they maintain the place well, it is a good option for a play place in terms of price and...
Read moreMy young toddler loved it here. We came for the soft opening. The layout is nice. Upon arrival and purchase, you can put your shoes and jacket away on the right side before entering the playground. For parents with strollers, I did see one stroller parked in between the entrance doors, otherwise, no designated spots for them—would be too crowded with them anyways.
My toddler’s favourite activities were the large ball pit and the wavy slide. Aside from that, there’s other slides too, as well as foam pit, arts and craft/toys room, toddler area/kitchen & groceries, pretend vet & construction area, a couple of party rooms. And even washrooms with training seats provided. The staff that I’ve encountered, especially the owner, are very nice.
The only con from my visit would be the claw machines. Expensive, ($2 a token). It felt like one of those claws that easily drops the prize, even if it’s secured. Tried 4 times, grabbed it 3 times. No prize. Aside from that, my toddler loved it here. We even came back after my toddler’s nap, so we can take advantage of the full day admission.
In the future, would love to see a time slot just for 5 and under, as it did get very busy and was a little hard for smaller ones to roam around with older kids running around much faster. As well as vice versa, my little one was always in the way of the older kids, haha. Thankfully, no kids pushed or shoved.
