Attended the Toronto car show at MTCC both North and South Halls, and have been since the ‘90s! Great show as usual, lots new models to check out, cool concepts, exotic cars from Pagani, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari. This year a few brands weren’t there, such as Toyota, BMW, Mini, Audi, Porsche, and Benz. But expected as the economy is still getting better from Covid and inventory shortages. Picked up a free yellow duck from the Jeep booth.. it refers to ‘getting ducked’ as a Jeep owner. Google it Hot wheels booth, Lego area, supercars, and lots to see and do. Purchased a ticket early on for $19, saved $7 from the regular show price. Parked underground off Rees street under South hall for $31.

MTCC is a state of the art convention center located at the heart of downtown Toronto. This fabulous venue hosts many exhibitions, fairs, conferance, seminars, trade shows, etc- Some popular events among them are international auto show and fan expo. It is very conveniently located and easily accessible through the public transit system. Through the Skywalk and PATH system, it is directly connected to the Union Station and many other facilities. Lots of parking facilities close by, although it might be costly. It has lots of well maintained rest rooms and seating arrangement throughout. Multiple sets of escalators are also available.

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is a spacious and well-organized venue, located right in the heart of downtown Toronto. I visited during PDAC 2025, the largest mining event in the world, and everything ran smoothly. Both the North and South buildings, along with Roundhouse Park, comfortably hosted thousands of participants and exhibitors. The event was easy to navigate thanks to clear signage and helpful staff. Inside, the facilities were clean and modern, with good climate control, plenty of seating, and food options. Being centrally located, the convention centre is close to hotels, restaurants, transit, and city landmarks, which makes attending large events much more convenient. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-equipped place to host major international conferences.

2023 fans Expo . I went to watch the screening of Robin Hood modern day version by global and chorus shot by Director X in a screening room this show is just about to get released I'm going to be playing Wednesdays 10:00 p.m. on global so much hard work Blood Sweat and Tears Source material and everything went into this project this project is a breath a fresh air take on Robinhood it's a must watch after that I had a minute to explore Fan Expo it was definitely a eye opener and how much people come out to cosplay and how many Innovative suits they were or outfits you had from Spider-Man to Mario Brothers to one punch King to all the animes definitely definitely something to do and inside of the Metro Convention Center they were comic books cards any in all collectibles that you could think of Lifesavers it was totally amazing it was like living your childhood all over again I am very impressed on Metro Convention Center and how they handled all those people it was very orderly very contained and really easy to navigate through the convention center this is the first time I've ever seen the convention center in full use all floors. I would go again...

The events themselves are reasonably good but they over sell their venue. This leads to crowding. Then they don't manage the crowd effectively and cause large masses of people trying to exit one area. I'm not talking about about "oh it's busy". I'm taking about a sea of a thousand people trying to get on ONE out of three escalators.

Before anyone says "fire code": a glut of one thousand people blocking a corridor is NOT fire safe. Getting people moving and flowing is. Large masses like that lead to crush events.

MTCC, you're supposed to be world class, get your act together please. This looks bad on Toronto. If you can't accommodate that many people then don't sell that many tickets.

0/10 on safety.

1/10 on service.

8/10 on...

I had a great experience while participating in a conference at MTCC. I needed help navigating the building and finding shipments. Laura, a member of the team at MTCC, went above and beyond to help me and make my day easier but walking me to the places I needed to go (not hit pointing and sending me on my). When we got to where the shipments were she went and found a trolley for me to use to easily transport my packages. This might not seem like much, but as an exhibitor at this vast venue, it's sometimes logistically challenging. Laura made sure I got everything I needed and helped me transport all of my materials across the centre to where my conference was. She was absolutely fantastic and made my day with her...
