Worst place ever visited with worst customer service. I would really want to give zero stars if that would be an option. The lady supervisor working there is rude to hell. All we asked is to put little extra sauce on our falafal wrap and she (supervisor) with so much useless attitude replied that she cannot put extra sauce as it will break on panini. I mean come on, it was not the first time we were having pita. Still we so politely said okay we will see if there is enough sauce, if not can you try adding little more. she crossed the limits then and said do you want your money back? She did all the arguements of the world when it was only her fault, discussed her age and ours and said I am working since morning. Experienced hell. I would never ever go there or recommend it to anyone. As a customer, we have the right to customize our order and we atleast were not asking her to get stars for us from the universe. Where there are supervisors like this, I don’t know how employes are gonna work.

Outrageous pricing for what they call “chicken shawarma”. One size, $14.69 before tax. $21.49 before tax for a platter. Not sure if they’re putting terrible prices because there was just a concert nearby, but it seems like a poor business choice. First of all: I, and I’m sure others, will never come back; second of all, they would probably straight up profit more if they just priced their food reasonably. Way more people would come. I witnessed several people walk in and look at the prices with disgust and walk out. The food itself shouldn’t even be called chicken shawarma. Not a legit shawarma joint. A wrap or pita with none of the correct sauces. But I guess that’s to be expected from a place called “Pita & Grill” claiming to sell shawarma.

I recently visited Pita & Grill and it was an amazing experience! I ordered the Kofta Kebob, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with authentic flavors. The sides complemented the dish beautifully, especially the fresh salad and fluffy rice. One of the standout features of this place is that the menu is halal, which is fantastic for those looking for delicious halal options in Toronto. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick, even during peak hours. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more items from their menu. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves fresh, flavorful, and halal food!

The shawarma plates are a rip off! I paid about $13 for a chicken shawarma plate after taxes because I wanted a different meal than a standard wrap. Turns out you get less food than the shawarma wrap for double the price! They give you two containers: a small one for the salad and a larger one for the rice and meat. While my salad container was filled to the brim with lettuce my rice and meat container barely had any food in it. Usually when a cheap restaurant is trying to save money they will fill the container with an inexpensive item such as rice to make the consumers believe they are getting a lot of food. This restaurant doesn't even do that. There was as little rice as there was meat in the container. It was roughly 25% full. I am typically not very picky. As long as the food tastes average and I am full by the end of the meal I am happy. I am slightly lower in both height and weight for a typical male so me being full after my meal should never be a problem.

Do not go here! Rip off. You will still be hungry after leaving the restaurant. Even the shawarma wraps while more filling than the plates contain very little meat. Do yourself a favour and eat at the subway or burrito places neighbouring this establishment. The quality here has definitely declined over the years. I live in the building above this place and have visited here many times so rest assured this is not an isolated incident.

Edit: I returned here 2 days ago after over a year had passed to give them another chance. This is what I got for about $15 plus a small side salad not included in the pic. This was the same chicken shawarma plate dish I ordered over a year ago. Looks like the portions sizes have not improved. I honestly wish this place would go out of business for ripping people off. The only reason they are surviving is because the area has a lot of tourists who don't know any better not to...

I was very dissatisfied in the service at pita and grill. I am not one to post reviews much less bad ones as I try to ignore. However this encounter left me feeling bad. Out of covid we are trying to support businesses and they should also realize it is a privilege to be open and have customers buy from them. At the very least respect should be shown. The cashier was an older lady and she was quite rude when I was ordering. There was little patience and she kept shouting 'yes, what do you want and she could not hear me because I was wearing a mask'. Her entire expression was of disdain during the service. She got the food and said 'here' when giving it to me. I then asked her if she added the falafels to my order and she said 'what' then I asked again and she checked and it wasn't added. The quality was not as expected for the price. I relayed this experience to others and they said from the beginning g they would have cancelled the order and walk out if this was her attitude towards them. I felt bad doing this and still ordered. I think we should try to treat our customers better and be thankful for the jobs we have. There are many people in need of food much less jobs. Even if someone is having a bad day or regardless of our views towards others or the mask even, out of covid we should learn to respect ourselves and others and be grateful people are...

We frequently venture off to the Pita and Grill on Eglington and Dixie and there is no comparison. The Mississauga location is far superior than this location I understand this location is downtown and you have highrer rents but you charge premium prices for subpar quality and quantity. 2 dinner and 2 wraps and a bottle of water should not cost $85 (and i gave a $5 tip). First off one of the dishes we ordered was a veggie falafel. The falafels were dry and hard as a rock and when you did bite into them you needed a gallon of liquid just to wash it down so you don't choke on them!! I've never seen a shwarma place so stingy on their toppings and sauces. I've never eaten a chicken shwarma wrap with one hand, always two hands. This is a true indication on how stingy they are. I had to remind the ladies to "Don't be Shy!!!!" The owner has these 2 young ladies, behind the counter, well trained in not making a proper shwarma wrap. I come down to a lot of Jays and Leaf games during the year... will i be coming back nor do i recommend anyone to visit this place. One more thing... today, the first day of summer of 2025, and temps are in the mid to low 20's and this place didnt even put on the AC. Couldn't wait to leave. So for this who gave 5 stars i call our BS and...
