Beware of cancellation policy.

I booked this via Expedia and cancelled a one night and turned it into a 2 night stay. Cancellation was offered when I booked. Little did I know, after my trip, the one night I booked was charged and not refunded. After Expedia tried to ask for some flexibility, even AFTER I stayed there 2 nights anyways, they refused. Wow. That's customer service for you. That's our policy they said. Again wow.

I stated previously some of the nice things they had, but also stated why I wouldn't stay there again. Was this retaliation for my ok review? I wonder.

Stay there at your own risk, but don't book if you have to cancel. Whatever it said on Expedia is obviously not the policy this hotel adheres to. All this to steal and extra $275. Shameful and pretty bush league for a business that depends on reviews and service.

Very cute boutique style hotel. Great decor and ambiance. Very close to Union station.

Rooms are really small and everything is compact, so just expect that. Window in my room was forehead height and directed at a wall so was disappointed there.

We had a king bed and it was pretty much the size of the room. But we sat on it watched tv and didn’t care there was no there seating than a small desk seat. We didn’t spent too much time in the room once we realized it was a bit compact for 2 adults.

Only really bad part is the bed is right by the room door, so every noise or person outside is audible and feels like they’re right beside you. Every noise from floor above is also accentuated by the fact that it’s always directly right above you due to the size of the rooms.

There was also construction in and/or around the building and they didn’t stop at night. Also road noise is easily audible so if you’re light sleeper this is not for you.

Was a nice stay overall but we’ll likely try a bigger hotel the next...

Not a fan. Would not stay here again unless I had no other choice. The lobby decor is nice, very chic. The front desk encounter was pleasant enough, the location is good but the rooms are awful and the stay was awful. The noise and busyness in the hallway always started at 0700h and wouldn’t stop til mid afternoon. You can hear the guests staying next to you and across from you loud and clear whether you’re in bed or in the bathroom. The housekeeping staff in the morning were loud. Laughing and talking to each other across the hall in full on loud voices. Both mornings I had the ‘please don’t enter bc I have a dog’ sign on the door and I still had housekeeping knocking and trying to enter. The bathroom is tiny and wish they could’ve planned better. I understand space is an issue but what’s with the tiny sink and then shelf right in front of it. For my height, when I brush my teeth I’m trying not to bonk my head on the shelf but one wrong move and I’m spitting and getting water on the floor. There’s dust ever in the room, the shower wasn’t clean when we got here. With long hair and pubic hair on the floor. I found one bug on the sheet, but checking the room I didn’t see anything else thankfully. They have a steamer in the room so I used that to steam the sheets myself. And the view… maybe we were unlucky, but the view was of a brick wall of windows of other room which made the room super dark even during the day. This place just doesn’t feel clean or comfortable. If you’re sensitive to noise and a lot of movement when you’re trying to decompress after a long day, this isn’t the place for you. I tried to take photos of the dust, but it doesn’t pick up on camera very well. I only have one to include that could get my...

We booked this because last minute and it also had a good deal. We spent three days and two nights here, and we absolutely loved it.

Immediately from walking in, I was impressed at how beautiful the lobby was. There were many places to sit, the lobby was so spacious, and it was very cozy. I loved the design, furniture, color choices, all of it. And they also had a cafe on the side too. I liked how accessible the cafe was, from morning to evening. And the cafe converts to a bar later. I thought that was pretty smart to utilize that space for different purposes.

Checking in was very easy. The room was quite smaller than I anticipated, but still it had had everything we needed. Location was great, there are many food options to choose from. Everything we needed and wanted to see was within walking distance. We added on breakfast and went downstairs to the cafe in the morning. Breakfast was delicious. My lattes were hittin' every single time. AC was blasting, which was perfect since it was so hot outside.

Service was great. Everyone we came in contact with at the front desk, the servers at the cafe, and housekeeping were friendly and nice.

All in all, we had a wonderful time here. It's a 4.5/5 for me. The reason why it's not 5/5 is the space. There wasn't enough space in the room for me to open up my suitcase comfortably and without feeling cramped. When we got takeout, we had to eat on the bed every night since there was only one chair and a small desk. That's my only qualm. Despite this, I'd come back again. Thanks for...
