Nasir's Hotdogs And Sausages — Attraction in Toronto

I went yesterday (Saturday evening). Nasir wasn't there so I am not sure if his presence makes a difference in the quality in which the hot dog is cooked, but we ordered a jerk chicken and beef hot dog. We came late in the day/ evening so the Spicy Italian was sold out. The hot dog was visibly cooked on the outside but the inside of the hot dog was not. It was just warm but not fully cooked. I was a bit disappointed 😞 as I have only heard good reviews about this place and was looking forward to getting a really good hot dog 🌭 . Maybe I will go another time when Nasir is there. The girl at the counter was very kind / sweet but the hot dogs simply weren't thoroughly cooked. That's my honest opinion/ review. Didn't even take a picture of the hot dog. It would have looked good though if I had in appearance only but it taste / quality, there are better hot dogs out there that are actually hot 🔥 as in in...

The food is great and the prices are fair during these trying times, but the service can be improved.

The hours are 11:30am-6:30pm online but I’ve shown up twice at 12pm and the stand at the Lawrence location hasn’t even opened. I’ve shown up at 6pm at both stands, and both have already closed.

In addition, whenever I order Uber ahead for pick up, it’s not even ready on time. I live 5 minutes away, and I always time it so that I get there right when it should be ready (usually around 15-20 minutes). Instead I end up getting a call asking when I will be there…. Usually right when I’m around the corner from the stand. So I end up waiting 10-15 minutes for the food anyway, I might as well have just dropped in and saved the extra $1-$2 that Uber charges. This has happened about 3 times already.

It is such a shame because it’s easily the best hot dog stand...

I’ve been a regular at Nasir's Hot Dog Stand in Scarborough, usually going at least twice a month, and it never disappoints! The prices are affordable, around $8 to $9 for a hot dog or sausage, and the taste is always great. The owner is super friendly, and the stand is open until 8 p.m., which is perfect for a late snack.

What I really love is the variety of sauces and toppings you can choose from, especially their own signature sauces—so good! They also offer meals with fries and a Coke, making for a complete meal that hits the spot. I used to grab my food and eat it in the car, and it was always a great experience.
