Went bowling with a group of 6 people last week, asked for 2 rounds of bowling; extremely dissatisfied with the service we received. One of our bowlers (12 y/o) has a disability and has limited use of her right arm, making bowling a bit of a challenge. we asked for bumpers to be put up and explained the reason why - staff was hesitant but agreed to do it. About half way through our game another staff member came over and put the bumpers down and shouted that we weren't allowed to have them up because there was no one under 10 years old...I have NEVER had a problem requesting bumpers at any other bowling alley...When I inquired further, the staff member was short and snappy and repeated that nobody was under 10. I asked for clarification as I'd never heard this rule, she said that we would damage the bumpers by hitting the bowling balls against them. Is that not what bumpers are for? to be bumped in to by bowling balls? Quite confusing. the 12 y/o was clearly becoming uncomfortable and so I did not make more of a fuss. I politely went up to the desk following this interaction and explained that we would be ending our time short and explained why. The staff member seemed unbothered, no apology issued...and to make matters worse, another member of our group went up to the desk afterwords (because our lane stopped working) and overheard the staff talking about how much trouble I was giving them. I will not be coming back to this location and will be letting my friends and family know about the lack of accessibility and understanding/common courtesy...
Read moregame was really fun! atmosphere here was great but the old lady bartender with blue makeup and curly hair was sooo rude.. when she checked my ID she said I looked very young and then took orders from other people, and after a minute she asked what I wanted and that I should give her my ID again for verification. When I told her that she had already checked my ID she said no. It was weird, she acted like she was under the influence of something. After rechecking she did not give me what I asked for and demanded to pay for what she gave me, after I refused she started yelling at me saying that I looked very young and she was not going to lose her license because of me 🗿 P.S i’m 21 🌚👍

The bartender checked my ID twice. After being refused service, I went to get the rest of my group, all of whom were adults (20+). Despite this, the bartender then stated that she would not check their IDs and still refused to serve us. It was ridiculous because I followed her instructions, yet she changed her decision afterward.

I recently attended a work event at Planet Bowling, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Upon ordering nachos, we were disappointed to find them burnt upon arrival. Our attempt to address the issue with an employee named Tim was met with unprofessionalism and rudeness. Despite claiming to be the manager, Tim not only refused to provide a replacement or refund but also displayed unacceptable behavior by shouting at my friends and pushing the nacho tray back at us aggressively.
However, the situation took a positive turn when we interacted with the actual manager on duty, a kind individual whose name, unfortunately, I could not get. She promptly acknowledged the problem, apologized sincerely, and replaced our order. Her professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction were commendable and salvaged our evening.
In light of this experience, I urge the management of Planet Bowling to address the behavior of employees like Tim, whose lack of customer service skills and manners detract from the overall enjoyment of patrons. While the prompt resolution by the true manager was appreciated, encounters like these underscore the importance of consistent and respectful service in hospitality...
