Any influencer who has made a video promoting this place should also be reviewed, as I ended up wasting $45 because of misleading praise.

We ordered tandoori momos with mixed veg stuffing. They were extremely small, dry, and disappointing. Initially, I thought we had just made a poor choice and decided to try something with gravy instead. Foolishly, I spent more money and ordered malai momos with paneer stuffing, only to find that they were even worse than the tandoori ones.

It seems someone taught them how to make malai gravy but forgot to mention how much black pepper to use—it was overwhelming. To make matters worse, the momos were charred excessively, which gave them a bitter taste. Tasted like sand (Don’t trust the pictures; they look far better than the food actually tastes.)

The kulhad chai was decent, but the kulhad (cup) itself wasn’t. It seemed like they were reusing the cups, as we could smell spoiled milk. Extremely disappointed.

Edit - Dear gentle readers (those who know, they know) do take a moment to enjoy the owner's reply to my review—it's a masterpiece of deflection. Not only are they squirming at the mere whiff of honest feedback, but they've also apparently decided that self-reflection is best served... "never".

Their defensive reply tells us why the food was quite memorable- awkward, disappointing, and something you can't wait to forget....

I’ve been a regular customer here and usually enjoy their food, but today’s experience was extremely disappointing.

I ordered Tandoori Peri Peri Momos and Soupy Momos, but they gave me Afghani Momos instead. When I brought it up, the staff first insisted it was peri peri. I calmly explained that this is my regular order, I know what it looks and tastes like. That’s when she completely flipped and claimed I had actually ordered Afghani Momos. No apology, no accountability, just a blatant denial.

Rather than escalating, I accepted what I was given. But honestly, that’s not how a restaurant should operate. Any other decent place would’ve acknowledged the mistake and corrected it without argument.

As for the Soupy Momos, they were a disaster. The soup was basically a bowl of thick starch with broken, overcooked momos in it. Totally unappetizing.

The food used to be great, especially when Gagandeep was around, she knew how to treat customers and run things well. Now it feels like the new staff have no idea what customer service even means.

I want to keep liking this place, but if things don’t change, it’s going to lose even its loyal customers. I really hope the management takes...

Won't recommend this place as I got ripped off here. I ordered chaap and paid $21 for the order. Instead, I got momos. When I walked up to the counter to point out the mistake, they started arguing with me instead of accepting their error. They refused to admit they made a mistake. I returned the order to them as I received it, but they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize. They gladly accepted the order back, making me feel like a fool. Worst experience ever. If I could, I would rate them negative for treating their customers horribly

In their response below, you can see what I mean. They are apologizing but at the same time maintaining it wasn't their fault. They never offered to replace the order; that's a pure lie. I asked the girl for chaap, and I'm not sure how the owner would know what exactly I said to the girl since they were not at the counter when I placed the order. So that's another lie. My 1-star rating is not for the taste as I didn't even have a bite of it but for the horrible customer experience. I will never come back, and you can keep my $21. Thanks...

Date: August 1st, 2025 Time: Late night I ordered the Creamy Soup Momos (along with other items). While the food was genuinely enjoyable, I want to raise a concern about a misleading menu description. The menu says: "Eight pieces of Momos (dumplings) dipped in 'housemade soup', topped with coriander and spices." However, the soup clearly wasn’t housemade. It tasted like a packaged soup, most likely Knorr or something similar. This was evident from the flavor and the texture of the vegetables — corn, peas, etc. — which appeared to be rehydrated dried ones, commonly found in instant soups. When I brought this up, the cashier wasn't sure. I hope the team will review this item (and other items) and update the menu to reflect what is actually being served. Misleading descriptions affect customer trust, even when the food itself is good. I am happy to take this matter ahead with proper authorities, if not addressed. I’d appreciate being contacted regarding this.

We’ve been loyal customers of Delhi Momos for a long time, often going once or twice a week and even introducing our friends to the place. The food has always been great — but our recent experience was really disappointing. We went around 2:30 AM yesterday night and ordered food as usual. Just before paying, we decided to add a couple of drinks and asked the staff to include them in the same bill. Surprisingly, she refused and insisted we pay separately. Even after explaining that we’d prefer to pay all at once (and that this is very doable in most restaurant systems), she stood firm and acted very dismissively. What made it worse was her rude attitude. We were shocked, especially since the same person had served us nicely the day before. In the end, we canceled the entire order and left. This was one of our worst customer service experiences in Canada. Sadly, we may not return.
