Overall, it was a nice stay. The room was modern and beautiful. A nice large closet to hang your clothes, and place your shoes out of the way.

When we first arrived, we went to the fridge to place our water, but it was a bar fridge that was unplugged and leaking water everywhere. We called down to ask about this, as we expected a fridge, especially for the cost of the room. They told us it would cost an additional $25.00 per night for a fridge in our room (we were there for 4 nights), so we declined and were pretty bummed. We explored alot of outdoor activities and when we got back to the hotel, they had placed a fridge in our room, and brought us up bottled water, free of charge.We felt this fair and were happy.

The beds were small for a queen we thought. They felt more like a double size bed, and they weren't as comfortable as other hotels we've stayed at. We feel the comfort of a bed is different for everyone, so not sure this will help anyone.

The pool lacked. It was quite small. No hot tub which we would have enjoyed. We used laundry service. That was incredibly convenient, but terribly expensive. We didn't eat at the restaurant, as we chose to tour the city but it was $18.00 + for pancakes at the restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast is NOT included with the room, which we didn't realize while booking - our bad.

We also paid for valet that included parking and them bringing our vehicle to the front doors, which was convenient while in the city. Valet was quick and professional and we felt necessary so as to not worry about the vehicle and traffic.

The room was very noisy. We did request a quiet room and were placed at the elevator which was very, very noisy at all hours of the day and night. I'm sure people could hear us in our room as well.

The hotel was close to the ROM, about a 3 minute walk to the lights. Access to the TTC was easy and Uber in T.O was fast and quick.

It was a lovely stay-cation for us, but we would likely try another hotel next time. We found this a little expensive for what we received overall. You pay for anything you ask for outside of your room fee. Perhaps these are just Toronto rates if you want a decent and clean place to stay with everything at your fingertips once you stepped outside. We got want we wanted in terms of cleanliness and convenience.

The staff we interacted with could not give us answers to any questions we asked, such as, when breakfast started, what time the pool opend and closed, and if they had any recommendations as to where to explore. We feel that given they are in the heart of Toronto and in the hospitality industry, they should know these answers. They were polite though!
