I just had my eyes laser corrected and I highly recommend UELC. My prescription was very high at -6.00 and now both eyes are 20/15 (that's better than 20/20!). *You are very well taken care throughout the process from the beginning to the end. I felt most comfortable seeing the same eye specialist to do the consults, pre and post evaluations and check ups. Yearly checkups forever are free too! The appointments were fast and efficient. Jenna Cranmer is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. She will answer all your questions/concerns and more. She even gives you an emergency night phone number to call her if you are worried about your eyes the night after the surgery!! *The surgeons are very well experienced. I didn't even know until after my surgery but Dr. Tam also did my 90 year old grandfather's successful caterac surgery. The nurses refer him to as the "caterac ninja" :) *Ask about their technology, its very up to date and their photo mapping is precise and detailed to fit the operation to your unique eye. *The day of surgery, you get a bag with every thing you need (i.e., all the drops you need, a pair of uv sunglasses and a prescription for refills if you need.) You do not need to worry about anything. *I also loved the location at Keele and Steeles. Traveling downtown for all the post appointments and needing a driver for a few of them (pre evaluation due to dilation drops surgery day and day after) would be a headache for me. Also lots of free parking. **Seeing clearly when I wake up right away is awesome and not needing glasses or contact is a dream come true. It is worth every dollar. The staff at U Eye Laser Cosmetic was amazing and my experience with them was a very positive one. There was a need for me to complete the surgery within a week of me deciding to complete it. This was not a problem for them as they set me up with a pre-surgery appointment to verify if I was candidate for the surgery. There was also a meeting discussing actions to be done after surgery such as eye drops as well how to go about day to day activities. After I passed my examination surgery date came and I was in and out within 1 hour which was painless and quick. The equipment the clinic used was top class and Dr. Somani talked me through each step taking away any fear and nervousness I had throughout the surgery. The results of the surgery were amazing and the care in the days and weeks after was incredible as there was multiple check-ups to see how the eyes are doing post-surgery. The whole process from booking the consultation to follow up appointments has been amazing. Jenna is extremely calm and knowledgeable.
