Beauty Boutique by Shoppers Drug Mart — Attraction in Winnipeg

I visited this beauty boutique expecting a premium experience, especially since this is one of the only locations in the city. While the staff were polite and the store carried some nice gift sets, I was extremely disappointed that they don’t offer any gift wrapping service.

When customers are buying gift sets—especially from a boutique that markets itself as upscale—the presentation is just as important as the products themselves. Having to leave and source wrapping supplies elsewhere completely undermines the convenience and experience I was hoping for.

On top of that, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Staff barely greet you, and from reading other reviews, it’s clear this is a recurring issue. Proper training on welcoming customers would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

For a store that positions itself as one of the city’s few beauty boutique destinations, I expected more attention to detail and customer service. Unfortunately, because of these shortcomings, I cannot recommend this location for anyone looking to purchase gifts...

Very unpleasant experience with this location. Bought item online since the Chanel mirror out of stuck when I check with them, and no option online for gift wrap or any bag. Thought to come back here ask since nearby, and told me no bag, but right away put out a bag from drawer give to customer who bought item in store. And tell me, even I bought the item in store since it too cheap they are not offering the bag. So shoppers staffs not care to take care their customer and just competing between online, headquarters and different...
