Ridiculous Prices for Basic Food

I recently visited A&W and ordered a Double Teen Burger combo, substituted the fries for a poutine, and added onion rings. Imagine my shock when I saw the total—over $30 for a fast food meal! Are you kidding me?

A&W used to be a place for affordable, quality food, but now it feels like you need a loan just to grab a quick bite. Charging this much for what’s essentially just a burger, poutine, and onion rings is absurd. There are plenty of sit-down restaurants where I can get a better meal for less. I just visited A&W in mall Aug 17 2024 around 2:08pm/ the order taking girl Manpreet is super nice and very welcoming. 5 stars to her. I just ordered fresh and well done fries. The another punjabi girls just bring the fries in half minute of placing order. I just said to give well done. That girl got irritated. Very rude and poor customer service. Just went to order the food and said to employee open the washroom for use.. very bad way employee said its for the customer only even he did not confirm from me am I going to order food or not.. just made a assumption provide me very very poor customer service..
