Tre Visi Cafe — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Gave this place three tries. The service is awful. First time I came here with my family and we had to wait for the food for about 1-2 hours. Second time I went there on a date and reserved a table prior to the event, however, upon arrival we were told that we need to wait 30-40 extra minutes. Third and final time I’ll ever be anywhere near this absolute mockery of an establishment is when me and my family went there for a family celebration this time we were told to live the restaurant because one of the clients didn’t enjoy us sitting next to him even though we were acting normal and weren’t loud or annoying. This place clearly gives favoritism to certain customers. The food here is mediocre and the choice is to say the least stereotypical there are many other places in Winnipeg with high end Italian cuisine that are better and more enjoyable. To add onto it the atmosphere is lackluster with them trying to create an atmosphere of an old authentic Italian restaurant they fail and make it look like a cheap New York diner that was built in the 60s. You instantly feel like you walked into a retirement home when you walk through the doors of this “exquisite”...

Amazing Italian cuisine! Always our go to for great Italian food and ambiance. I had the special of the day of shrimp and veg with wine sauce and a side of fettuccine Alfredo (Alfredo is always on point here) husband ordered lamb shank (so tender and succulent) and kids got gnocchi so creamy and always their order when we are in. For apps we had meatballs (moist and tender), calamari so tender and fresh and an order of focaccia which they make in house. For dessert we did gelato (hazelnut, lemon and strawberry) all were delicious and I had tiramisu which was surprisingly light and airy yet creamy and decadent. Service was great and fast as always. Tre-Visi - only modest price increases over the past 2-3 years - still exceptional value. Food is exceptional -- highest quality and portions are very ample. Still one of the very best in Winnipeg. Staff are so very nice.

Food is exceptional and nice to have the choice of some small dishes, although the serving I had was quite generous. Everything was very fresh tasting. Service was very relaxed, friendly and excellent.
