Filed a complaint about the security guards at the guest services because every single time I come to shoppers, the security guards follow me around/keep their eyes on me, especially in the beauty section. I started recording one of the security guards because he was following me and always standing within 5-10 feet of me glancing at me every 5 seconds. He called over his coworker to call cf security and 6 other people showed up. I have all rights to record security guards in public as well as police officers. They told me I was not allowed to leave, they even blocked the way. I left anyways. They have no rights to harass innocent people like me, I felt unsafe and they actually told me I had to delete the video and they said I could not send it to anybody, they told me they would keep me there until I deleted this video (posting it in the review” followed me all the way out of the mall. I went back inside to guest services and they apologized profusely for what had happened and they said they were so sorry. I’m not a shoplifter and this is discrimination. I do not feel safe shopping here. Apparently I had “nice things and clothes” that made them target me. I told my friends and family not to come here a long time ago because of this issue. I am now finally standing up for myself. They also accused me of stealing at a different location when I put something in my basket. He asked me if I had anything in my pockets and so I shook out my pockets and told him “what, this lipliner that I put in my BASKET?” Once again, this is DISCRIMINATION.
I feel like they wanted to get their quota up, so they harrased me until i started recording, then they said i couldnt record them (which i can legally anywhere in public) then they started following me around the mall with all of their security guards, and followed me out of the mall, I felt unsafe. The security guard also took a video of me. Will post the videos on Facebook or something since Google will not...
Read morecashier (blonde, pixie cut) switched my mom’s peggo card with another girl’s. It would have been fine if she apologized and corrected her mistake. But the first thing she did was blame it on us and said that “We should have said something” when she mislead us with information and told her coworker to give the peggo card to the girl behind us. We have no idea which card she loaded first as she is the one doing it. She kept saying “I dont know what to do” and ignored us half the time while her coworker was the one who helped us. In the end it wasn’t resolved.
Would have been fine if the cashier apologized and did not blame it on us immediately when it was clearly her mistake. Next time, please help your customers resolve the...
Read moreI recently visited the Beauty Bar at the Polo Park Shopping Centre. From my experience, the ladies here are the best in the business, and always know exactly what to recommend. Being a former Bay cosmetic shopper, I find SDM is so much better with product advice, and this is always my go-to, now, for any cosmetic/skincare purchases. On Saturday Dec 2, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Andrea S. I am writing because I feel compelled to give her special mention - she really went above and beyond, in my opinion, and was just so helpful and knowledgable. I had a few concerns and she took the time to really listen and assist. I purchased a few items and am very happy with them all. Thank you so much, Andrea, for...
