Toucan Ridge — Attraction in Winnipeg

Absolutely loved visiting Toucan Ridge! It felt like stepping into a tropical rainforest right in the middle of Winnipeg. The atmosphere is warm, lush, and full of life—so many beautiful birds, monkeys, reptiles, and unique plants all around you. The glass waterfall viewing area was a real highlight. The zoo is always a pleasure, if you can afford it, and the "tropical house" as it was called when I was little is a great place in any event, doubly so on cold windy days if you are looking for a reprieve from the cold while you wander the outdoor exhibits.
