Wonderful attraction for everyone to enjoy! One of the cheapest things in the park. I really enjoy the sight of a real coal burning steam locomotive running and operating, it is fantastic!
Winnipeg is extreamly lucky to have this train and its been a peice of Winnipeg history since 1964. i have been a happy passenger since 1993 when i was 2 years old.
It's the only coal burning train in a city park in all of Canada.
This train is a fully live and operational Crown Metal steam train. Made in Pen State USA. Only 58 models like it ever made, and we have been exceptionally lucky to have it here serving Winnipeg its whole life.
The Train is now 61 years old and still going strong!!!
Wish there were more stars to give!!! Be sure to come out and support it this wonderful iconic train it's fun for all ages, dogs are welcome...

Ticket sales, collection, and ride are very original feeling: the coal fired steam engine, steam whistle, clickity clack of the steel wheels on rails. You should try it at least once. $3.25 per passenger gets you a 10-minute circuit ride over a pond and through the...
