The Pavilion at Assiniboine Park — Attraction in Winnipeg

Roadtrip. Someone said earlier about waste of tax payers money....At the entrance of the pavilion is a display that indicates the names of the sponsors who invested their own money in to the Pavilion. Local people donated their time and money making this place available to all. Pavilion is a great place to hide from summer heat and enjoy Canadian art. Also...Winnie The Pooh is a legend for almost a century, and this legend belongs to Winnipeg (and White River, Ontario, of course. I will write about it later), and you can learn the story right there at the museum. Canada may be only 150 years old, but it has many great stories that place it as an equal among the countries with much older history. And places like Pavilion Gallery Museum help to tell such stories to general public, for free. True Canadian spirit at it's best. Highly recommend. At least we...

Had my wedding here in the autumn of 2022. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Michelle who made taking care of everything incredibly simple and responded to any and all questions with quick and detailed information. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and compared to a lot of wedding venues out there, quite affordable. You do have to go with their food which costs about average for most venues, but taste wise I assure you you are getting your monies worth. The salmon in particular makes me sad there isn't a restaurant there that you can dine at regularly! A great small venue (holds less than 100 guests) that hosts a wonderful atmosphere. We had our wedding here on August 26th and it was incredible. We worked closely with Rhianna and she was very accommodating and understanding! The food was immaculate. We had so many compliments from our guests about the buffet, dessert and perogie station! The bartenders were very nice and the coordinator that was there the night of was super friendly, accommodating and helpful in anything that we asked. The only things that we didn’t realize until it was too late was the microphone that we had for our ceremony went missing right before the ceremony but our ceremony was quick and we spoke loudly so it ended up working okay.
