If there is a negative score, I would choose to give it a negative score. Since my friend told me a few years ago that the ice cream shop is delicious, in the following years, I have come here every summer to eat ice cream. Their ice cream is really, really delicious. But this year, things have undergone some unpleasant changes, fortunately, ice cream is still as delicious as before. The problem lies with the salesperson. I don't understand if they remember the prices and product types during the training process. For three consecutive days, there were two girls who didn't know what I was talking about when placing orders, a situation that had not occurred in the past few years. Today's situation makes me feel a bit amused. I told a girl, I wanna a regular size cup with peanut and espresso, she gave me two peanut cones, and then I paid 9.53 dollars. When I saw her holding two pearl cones for me, I corrected her and pointed out that I wanted hard ice cream, but she didn't refund me the extra money afterwards. I walked into the store and asked for a refund, but she gave me cash. I said I didn't want cash, could I have the same ice cream as mine (I'm sorry, I didn't know how much the cup ice cream cost at the time, I thought it was the same price as the corn in the freezer)? She refused me, and in my opinion, her attitude was slightly rude and tough. This feeling is something I have never felt in this store before. Last year, a few brothers were very energetic at work, and my friends and I were sometimes willing to buy $5 ice cream and give a $5 tip. I think there was a small issue with your employee training. I have explained the situation here, and the actual situation may vary depending on individual perspectives. If the manager feels that what I said is not true, please check the cameras...
Read moreI drove by yesterday and saw a massive line. I read the article about their ways to "stay open and social distance customers". I was so upset from what I saw I had to double back and absorb the sight before me.
A pandemic: Infecting millions, devastating the world and hurting people we care about. Despite this you find it appropriate to open your doors and help contribute to this terrible disease.
Owners: Ice cream is hardly an essential service. I understand you're a business and have to pay rent but we have government funding to help you. You do not need to make a profit at the health of the community you serve. The longer you contribute to raising our curve the longer we will be stuck with restrictions and thus you lose much more money.
Customers: Ice cream.. during a pandemic? Is that essential? As an essential employee your actions make me completely afraid for our future. I go out to work risking my health, and my family for you. If you need ice cream so bad please go to your closest supermarket and purchase some.
I get being non-essential is boring and you want to get out but please do it safely. Keep your distance and stop making this worse than it already is. The government is giving you easy access to Employee Insurance. You should try earning that money by staying home, keeping others safe and not wasting it on ice cream shops.
We are in a historic moment. One we will be telling for the rest of our lives to those who follow.
I am very sad to know that all you will have to say to your loved ones is: "I got Ice cream at a crowded shop during the outbreak".
Stay...
