Hotel He Wang — Attraction in Santiago

We stayed here for 3 nights on our visit to Santiago. The hotel seems to be brand new with some of it still under construction and not quite all the way operating yet (huge empty racks for a wine collection, no bar, restaurant not always open). The staff was extremely helpful and spoke English. The room was very nice, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful with servers and menu choices rather than a buffet. ||The location seemed a little ify - our first night there we walked many blocks in search of an open restaurant since the hotel restaurant didn't open until 7 and we were hungry. The only thing we could find was a Chinese restaurant on the corner in the midst of all the street vendors. Side note - just down the street there is a fabulous restaurant called Chilenazo but it seemed to only be open for lunch. ||As mentioned by another reviewer, finding the hotel can be a bit tricky. It's located on the 3rd floor of a building that has stores and a gym on the first two floors and there is no signage. The best entrance is on Romero Street around the corner from the...

The good: Room is spacious, bed is big and comfy, the breakfast is wonderful, good value. There's a very good asian restaurant downstairs. The staff is very supportive and professional. you can use whatapps or wechat to communicate. There's a terrace where you can sit down and enjoy the view.

The bad: The entrance is confusing, it's not exactly at the location specified in the google map, it's around the corner surrounded by gate. The hot water is unacceptable since the pressure is so low it's either too hot or too cold, and it takes forever for the hot water to run. The wifi is very weak, spotty, almost unsable. Location not so good, and there're not much around the area, which is very run down, with alot of retail closed down with...
