These are two swimming beaches on the east side of Cheung Chau Island. Tung Wan Beach is around 400 metres long and just north of Kwun Yam, which is less than half that size.
These beaches are also known locally for the good windsurfing conditions during the summer months. You'll find a handful of shops with boards and equipment and waters filled with surfers, especially on windy days.
