A lovely walk, not a hike at all. Flat and chill, about 3-3.5 km. The views are quite lovely and the air quality is a little better than the rest of Hong Kong. Probably also moderately wheel chair accessible, not super smooth, but no or steep steep inclines.

I finally did this trail, on a hot day with a backpack. No complaints even though it was quite hard. You are rewarded with this priceless view of the Victoria harbor. Can’t be beat!

Lovely and relaxing 2 mile trail with the option to take a higher path to another peak which was medium effort upstairs but worth doing.

Beautiful walkway with commanding views of city. There's some interesting tourist info panels. One reads as follows :

"According to various historical records, Hong Kong had many names before the arrival of the British, one of them was 'Hung Heung Lo Kong' (紅香爐港, Red Incense Burner ☐ Harbour). One old story says: long time ago, one red incense burner flowed and landed on the beach in front of the Tin Hau (天后, goddess of the seafarers) Temple in E present Causeway Bay. The villagers believed it was the revelation of Tin Hau, so they 前 placed the incense burner in the temple to worship and called the harbour in front of it 'Hung Heung Lo Kong'. Later the name was used to identify the whole island. In the early 19th century, the Ching government once set up a military post with the name of 'Hung Heung Lo Shun' (紅香爐汛) on the north shore of the Hong Kong Island, the name, was further validated. When a late Ching political critic Wong To (王韜) stayed in Hong Kong, he in his essay 'A Brief Introduction to Hong Kong' (香港略論) called Hong Kong as 'Hung Heung Lo Fung'(紅香爐峰,Red Incense Burner Peak): '...though a tiny place, its names are complicated, it is called Hung Heung Lo Fung, is called Kwai 住 Tai Lo (裙帶路).....' Since then, the name 'Lo Fung' became widely known. Some literary writers gradually used this name to denote Victoria Peak. In recent years, Victoria Gap has been officially renamed 'Lo Fung' Gap...

The Peak Trail is a fantastic hiking route that offers breathtaking views of Hong Kong and Kowloon. The trail is well-maintained and relatively easy to follow, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you hike along the trail, you'll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the city skyline, the harbor, and the surrounding islands. There are plenty of benches along the way to rest and take in the scenery.

Overall, the Peak Trail is a must-do for anyone visiting Hong Kong. It's a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some fresh air and...

Just finished the Peak Circle Trail — honestly, one of the best walks I’ve ever done. The views are absolutely breathtaking, stretching from the city skyline to the harbor and distant islands. The weather was perfect, with a cool breeze and clear skies, and the whole trail had this incredibly peaceful, almost meditative vibe. It’s an easy, flat walk but delivers world-class scenery the entire way. A must-do if you’re ever...
