The Lung Shan Country Park is a 47 hectare area of protect the wooded and densely vegetated slopes on the northwest side of Victoria Peak. This is the smallest country park in Hong Kong and is bordered by the adjacent Pok Fu Lam Country Park to the south and and east.
The Pok Fu Lam Country Park can be accessed by way of Hatton Road which climbs the wooded mountainous terrain from Hong Kong University to the Lugard Road Junction. There is a popular hike call The Morning Trail which walkers and hikers can use to transect the Lung Shan Country Park. You will see interesting heritage attractions along the way including the City of Victoria Boundary Stone (1903) as well as the early 20th century Pinewood Battery war relics which saw action during the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941.
There are park benches and plenty of information panels and country park maps along the trail. There are public bathrooms and BBQ spots at both ends of the trail. Visitors should allow at least an hour walking up The Morning Trail through the Lung Fu Shan...

When it was active, it was manned by The 17th Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery of the 5th Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Hong Kong Singapore Royal Artillery.
The path, steep and slippery at times, winds down towards Pok Fu Lam and / or Hong Kong University.
There are no places to buy snacks along the way.
It's a beautiful and easy walk down and very peaceful. The exit at Pok Fu Lam requires another ten minutes walk to find a busy main road with many bus stops. Plenty of taxis zip up...
