The race season in Happy Valley started again in September and even if you are not a race fan you should at least go there once. Take the tram to go there and go to the upper level - this gives you a little different view of the city The venue of thw Happy Valley race course is great because it is located in the city and surrounded by skyscrapers. The atmosphere is spectacular and the HKJC does a lot to make this a great place. It is easy to make a bet, no long lines and help is guaranteed should you need some. The food concept on the ground floor could be improved and the quality of the food is unfortunately poor. Ticket price for locals is 10 hkd but tourists can enter for free by showing their passport picture on the entrance. You can bet on the races, learn about betting and easily withdrawal cash from ATMs and enjoy here. Races last for 2 minutes and there is a gap of 30 minutes in between races.
