Absolutely Horrendous Experience – Rude Staff & No Tax Refund If you’re a tourist shopping in Shanghai, avoid HARMAY like the plague.
I walked in expecting a premium shopping experience. What I got instead? Rude, unhelpful staff who made it very clear they couldn't care less about customer service. Spent over 1,000 yuan and asked for the TRAF (tax refund form) – a basic right for international shoppers. The response? A bunch of lazy excuses: "Manager isn't here," "We can't do it now," and "Sorry, we don’t know how." No attempt to help. No escalation. No solution. Just blank stares and dismissive shrugs.
If you're running a business that caters to international clientele, maybe train your staff to handle actual requests instead of acting like you're doing customers a favor by acknowledging them.
