Elevating Luxury with a Pearl Tower Perspective at W Shanghai - The Bund My recent stay at W Shanghai - The Bund was nothing short of extraordinary, as I indulged in the opulence of the Fantastic Suite, Pearl Tower View. The average price of IDR 14,111,295 was a reasonable investment for the breathtaking spectacle that awaited me. Fantastic Suite, Pearl Tower View: W Shanghai - The Bund showcases its commitment to avant-garde design and unrivaled style through the Fantastic Suite. Overlooking the iconic Pearl Tower and the dazzling Shanghai skyline, this suite on a high floor provided a panoramic canvas for immersing oneself in the vibrant pulse of the city. The expansive windows framed a captivating panorama of Shanghai's skyline, featuring landmarks such as the Pearl Tower, Shanghai International Financial Tower, Shanghai Tower, and Jin Mao Tower. The Fantastic Suite, with its chic design and thoughtful amenities, transformed my stay into an indulgent experience within the heart of this dynamic metropolis. Indulgent Experiences: What sets W Shanghai - The Bund apart is not just its luxurious accommodations but the immersive experiences it offers. My sojourn included savoring the iconic MADE THE LIST Holiday Special Afternoon Tea. Delighting in 14 luxury canapes, complemented by a tin of caviar, all while enjoying the iconic view, became the highlight of my stay—a testament to the hotel's dedication to delivering memorable moments. Perfect Facilities and Outstanding Service: The hotel's facilities are nothing short of perfection, leaving an indelible mark on my memory. The outdoor WET Deck, with its breathtaking views, added another layer of indulgence to my stay, offering a serene oasis amidst the urban landscape. The service, synonymous with the W brand, was consistently amazing, reflecting a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. From the Woobar's cocktail hour to the Kitchen Table's delectable breakfast spread, every facet of W Shanghai - The Bund exuded excellence. Conclusion: My stay at W Shanghai - The Bund in the Fantastic Suite, Pearl Tower View, was a symphony of luxury and panoramic splendor. The hotel's commitment to exceptional service, innovative design, and indulgent culinary offerings, coupled with perfect facilities such as the WET Deck, makes it a jewel in the W portfolio. For a traveler who has explored various W properties, W Shanghai - The Bund rivals the best, offering an unparalleled fusion of contemporary luxury and dynamic cityscape. If you crave an immersive experience in the heart of Shanghai, W Shanghai - The Bund stands as a beacon of excellence, and I eagerly anticipate returning to relish its electric ambiance in the future.

A stunning hotel with great rooms and views to match, but sadly misses the mark and is off-brand for W Hotels. For example, the 'Wet Deck' doesnt have access to the bar, it's completely blocked off by glass barrier, with restaurant patrons weirdly overlooking the pool. Mostly kids/families using the pool. Lifeguards not proactive with offering towels/seats, just point at towels in a storage bin, and likewise water bottles in an esky cooler. Not a 5 star experience at all. Additionally, it's awkward to get to the pool, with a ridiculously rain curtain at the entrance, so your belongings/clothes get wet. I was carrying a laptop in open bag which got wet. Breakfast was ok, but another awkward layout with 3 separated stations, and needing to navigate between tables. Quality of fried items was very poor, dry, hard, tasteless. The great views across the Bund to Pudong partially make up for the lack of luxury experience, albeit the windows are very dirty - see nighttime photo. Bar inside has good service and drinks, with cool seating areas and DJ. Outside bar also lacked the finesse of 5 star resort service. Clunky, slow and not proactive to replenish drinks. Hotel management and staff need to visit a proper W Hotel for brand training. There are much better options nearby in Shanghai.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Luxe Experience at W Hotel Shanghai! My stay at W Hotel Shanghai was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch—warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The stylish and modern design of the hotel is truly impressive, blending Shanghai's vibrant culture with W’s signature chic vibe. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of The Bund and the city skyline. Every amenity was thoughtfully curated, from the plush bedding to the high-tech room controls, making the stay incredibly comfortable and luxurious. The dining experience was another highlight! Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every meal was a culinary delight with a great mix of international flavors. Special shoutout to the bar, where the creative cocktails and stunning views made for a perfect evening. Location-wise, it doesn’t get better. W Hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the city, with easy access to The Bund, shopping districts, and top attractions. Overall, W Hotel Shanghai delivers an unforgettable experience with a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and style. I can't wait to come back!

Shanghai is a big city so you need to chose where you want to stay . We had a conference at the W hotel , and the hotel was amazing . It’s more of a modern hotel and the design is a bit different then the normal hotel rooms . The interior designing team have probably thought out of the box . 10 out of 10 for their designs . The hotel lobby is located at the 4th floor and the reception check in was very fast even that I have reached late at the night . The room has all the amenities that you want . The usage of red color and the wood was an excellent contrast . Simple , contemporary and modern . The switch buttons were easy to use . You also had automatic blinds . The view of Shanghai city was amazing . Comfortable bed . The service button of whatever whenever was very convenient . The only negative side is the writing on the soap in the shower room , needs a bit of concentration to read which is the shampoo and which is the shower gel . Am sure the hotel management can fix that . This was my second stay at the hotel after the last in 2018 . The wardrobes had a lot of space even if you have extra luggage with you . Overall 5 out of 5 .

The best hotel EVER. I was hesitant to book at first because I didn't see too many reviews on Google. But now I think it's because it's hard to open Google when in Shanghai. The room is nice and spacious and has a super nice view. Very clean and modern. I was a bit shocked with the blue light when I first entered the room, but rest assured you can change them if you don't like it. They have these fancy buttons you can reach from your bed to switch it to normal, cozy color scheme. They welcomed me even before I arrived. Checking with me if I had any preference or if I needed a ride. I decided to get a ride from them from the airport. The price is more on the higher side, but honestly it's not too bad esp. because they have impeccable service and nice cars. Everyone from the receptionist to the servers and cleaning ladies and the launderer are so wonderful! The food is great, both the AYCE breakfast and the room service. But it's located right next to a mall with lots of food options, from 1.50$ Yang's Dumpling to Wolfgang Puck that's few hundred bucks for an entree. So, I'd rather go out. Definitely recommend 👍🏻

This place made my trip to Shanghai even more wonderful and exciting. There was no time to get bored because of the sensuous music, stylish interior design, and the wonderful view overlooking Shanghai's hot spots. The staff was very friendly and the service was impressive. The food in the breakfast buffet was varied and both taste and quality were good. The terrace bar and outdoor pool are perfect for enjoying the Shanghai scenery. It was also close to tourist attractions such as Waitan and Yu grden, etc.
